Thanks and great suggestions. If you haven't already, I'd check out www.youtube.com/@nockonarchery. John Dudley is a beast when it comes to everything archery and I've learned a ton from his videos on how to improve my technique.

Yup !! Frist time not too bad though Here 2 little basic to understand when you're doing it right : Whe you see arrows all over the target means very low technique you're not always throwing the same way . When you see arrow on a narrow spot all close each other but not in the center of the target means your bow site is out of range but olso means you improved a lot 😉 I m not a pro at it and i am still learning !! Cheers 🍻

Bought this bow except went with the 320 version after years of buying top of the line bows. I have had 5 years off and just wanted something decent to get started on a budget. I have found this bow to be just as good as bows double the price. It's accurate, easy to setup and use and has a very smooth draw cycle. With the 80% let off you can hold this bow at full draw for a long time before fatigue sets in. All around great bow and honestly when a budget bow preforms this way there really is no need to buy the latest and greatest unless you've been in the sport many years.

That’s great to hear about how it compares to higher end bows. It’s the only compound bow I’ve bought and I’m super happy with it. Thought about buying something more expensive, but it would be just a waste for me needs especially with how happy I am with this bow.

Hey man that 40 yard group wasn't from your pin. You just need to shoot more and get more repeatable and you'll start getting tighter groups then you'll be able to adjust your sights

Have you had any issues with the cable slide fraying your string? I have the exact same bow for about the same time, but I shoot a lot ( around 1000+ arrows in just under 4 months). The fraying could be due to how much I shoot or a faulty slide or string. Just checking to see if you had the same issue.
@UnprofessionalOutdoors
@UnprofessionalOutdoors 3 года назад
I haven’t had any issues with the cable fraying, but I’m not shooting as much as you are. Only issue I’ve run into is the string suppressor has come loose on me a couple of times. I used some loctite on the screw that keeps it in place the last time it came loose and it seems fine so far.

I’ve been bow hunting for the last 15 years or so. My biggest piece of advice would be. Your shooting to much in 1 sitting. You’ll start to correct and over correct. Maybe keep it to 15 shots a session or so. Shoot 5 3 shot groups and adjust after each one.
@UnprofessionalOutdoors
@UnprofessionalOutdoors 3 года назад
Thanks, that’s solid advice. I have also noticed after too many shots in an overall session I’ll start to fatigue and get sloppy.

Did you get this bow tuned before you used it? I just ordered one and im curious. Also i want my 12 year old son to use it .. will it need tuning when we change draw weight? Probably a question for the other experienced archers that have been commenting. Thanks to you too :)
@UnprofessionalOutdoors
@UnprofessionalOutdoors 2 года назад
I got the bow tuned and adjusted to my reach when I first got it, which I would recommend doing unless you know a lot about bows. Unless your son is the same size as you (assuming he’s not) you’d have to adjust the draw length to fit your reach each time you trade off using it. You’d probably also want to adjust the poundage. Not impossible but could be a pain. I’ve been using the bow consistently since make this video a year ago and have to say it’s a great bow.

@@UnprofessionalOutdoors one upgrade I highly recommend is getting a fall away arrow rest. I bought the ripcord and I love it. I honestly don’t see a reason to buy a matthews or Hoyt when you can achieve great accuracy and draw weight up to #70. After that the only other upgrade necessary is a sight.

Draw length is little to long on ya and try to draw back straight not off to the side like u was short that draw length and u will shot a lot better
@UnprofessionalOutdoors
@UnprofessionalOutdoors 3 года назад
When I first picked it up at the shop they set the draw length shorter, which was making me less accurate. So they decided to lengthen it a bit, which improved things. I for sure need to work on my form, but may revisit the length at some point. Thanks for the advice.
