Thank you. This made the process a lot less intimidating. I went looking for something like this because I'm trying to diagnose a problem. the water is coming thru the gysers but not reaching the wheels. I boiled the gysers in a vinegar water solution like the instruction book says but still no joy. I really don't use this a lot but I did go ahead and add some oil to the two red screw positions. I'm just not sure what the problem really is and what to do.
@@misslanie23 Not yet. I was hoping he would reply that yes, that is likely the problem. I'll check with the shop guys at my local club and see what they think but right now, it's too hot to work out in my shed.
I had the same problem. This happens, when it is not possible to push the air, because no vacuum. So maybe the screws are not thigt enough or the hose at the pump to the geyser has a lack. I disassembled everything, cleand it, and assembled again. Then it worked again. Maybe there is too much oil and the belt is slippery.
Does the belt go smooth side out? Or teeth out. I just inherited this exact machine, bought new wheels and a pump kit. Changed all the parts after soaking the leathers. Worked great for 5 minutes then stopped pumping. I can figure out why the pump isn’t rotating
This happens, if the belt is too slippery or not thigt also the angle of pully from pump to the belt wheel needs to be right, or it will damage the belt. Avoid to use the machine too long if pump is not working.
