Hi, I am sorry, I to continue. I am severely ADHD, plus OCPD so until I am severe pain in my lower back or left shoulder I will not stop Diamond painting. I have this whole idea I must finish fast. Love your videos. Have a wonderful evening
Enjoyed the chat. I agree with you. It is not sentient and at this time will not replace the human in many things. Repetitive things I believe it can and does especially with enough perimeters. Thank you for this informative side of Ai. Peace and love abide with you 💕
Hi, I found you talk on AI interesting. Until Diamond painting stop being a niche, there will not be much with AI. I use a light pad because I have a birthmark on the back of my left eye. So the more light the better. I am still developing my best method of Diamond painting. Right now I do color blocking first, then confidee
Hi Daphne. I started to comment on your video and my phone went a little wonky so if I wind up repeating myself I apologize. I really enjoyed today’s wip n’ chat. AI is definitely a popular,(or unpopular),subject. I guess it’s all how you look at it. I really don’t think I have a problem with AI art as long as it’s labeled as such. I don’t think a AI is ever going to take the place of a beautiful piece of artwork created by a talented hand, but it definitely is interesting. But like another commentor said before me, our creative abilities can’t be replicated and should be treasured. There is so much talent, creativity, sensitivity in the world that can only be expressed by a living, breathing human. And even though there is a place in the world for AI I would hate to see it become so widespread that it becomes a common place thing. It definitely gives me I Robot vibes. And if you’ve read the book or seen the movie, you know what I mean. Sometimes I think that I’m just too old for all these innovations, even though I’m middle-aged.
I think it might have meant grouping different shades of colours together (all the blues, all the reds, etc.) when you kit up, when it said sort it by shade. Not something I would do myself, but there are people that do that.
I was going to say the same thing. I used to put my bottles in order by the inventory sheet. To put down a drill I had to find it on the sheet to get the number and get the bottle. Now I sort the bottles by symbol which I find to be faster.
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous I have tried a 4 placer many time, not sure, what happens, I don't like the results! And yes, I love square drills over rounds, but sometimes I crave rounds, go figure ! Vickie
Oh boy….touchy subject but here is my take on it. We are human beings. Our creative ability is something that should be treasured and respected and can never be replicated, automated or copied. AI platforms as they exists now don’t respect any of that. AI usage as a creative tool or an idea generator can quickly become an ethical gray area that I am really uncomfortable with. I sincerely hope that AI generated digital Art will be labeled as such in the diamond painting world.
It will be interesting to see how some of the court cases shake out. I have seen that in some spheres, people/businesses are not waiting for courts, however. For instance, there are already several RPG companies who are banning the use of AI art in their products. Although, I did wonder how you will know, because I have seen people on IG showing off their AI art, which they are licensing to dp companies. Not sure how that works, since I understood you couldn’t copyright AI art - so I guess the question is where is the line of AI ‘assistance’ and AI creation? I have also seen a TON of what I suspect is AI art on a lot of the budget dp sites.
