@@JoanDiamondPaints That's a really good point!!! I think I have to agree with you -- despite being essentially the same process, paint by numbers doesn't appeal to me. And diamond painting lets me create something crafty! Thx for the food for thought 👍👋

I have not made my own diamond art patterns. You should check out @diamondpaintingwithgems296 She does a lot of projects with her spare diamond painting drills.
Thank you for this video! Definitely appreciated. I do have a couple more questions though please. (1) Would you consider your journal to be for WIPs and completions and the baseball card pages are the orders and inventory stash? (2) When do you move the small image from the baseball card page to the journal page? (e,g., when you receive it, when you have kitted it up)? (3) Are you willing to share your spreadsheet as a template for your viewers? Thank you
My journal is just for the WIPs and completion. The pictures stay in the baseball card pages until I kit up and then I put it in my drill storage. I usually have a couple kitted up at the same time so I don't put the picture into my journal until I start drilling. I guess I do use the baseball card holders as an inventory of my stash. They are in the slots in order of delivery. I keep the pictures of the diamond paintings I am waiting for at the end with several empty card slots in between and move it up when they arrive. I'm not sure if my spreadsheet is very user friendly so I would have to fix it up. Thank you for watching!
@@JoanDiamondPaints Thank you for your reply. That helps me out so much. As to the spreadsheet, I will try to create my own. It was more about what items you are keeping on the spreadsheet. I will watch the video again to see for the label merge you print and put in the baseball card pages with the image. I really like this system.

I love your log book! I have been using Gems Flow app on iOS but there is something so cool about having a book to page thru. I am a planner chick so I try to log in my planner what painting I’m working on that day. Your video inspired me. I will be setting up a diamond painting planner soon. I just have to tear myself away from my drafting table to work on it. All I want to do is diamond paint!!
