I agree with you on the summer heat! I just decorated for the fall because the season starts earlier up north where I live! It’s already cooling down! Woo hoo! 🍂
I use release papers but I don't use the square ones. I buy rolls of release paper from Amazon. That way I can stretch one piece all the way across the canvas. When I get ready to diamond paint, I can fold back a section just big enough for however much time I have. This works for me since I work all my canvases from the top, working each row from left to right. No need for cover minders, I just use a paper clip to hold back the folded section.

Hi Debbie, good morning from a very cool Los Angeles Basin I am still working on Golden Cocker Spaniel. I am probably 1/4 done. My other hobby is collecting Gemstones. A very expensive hobby. Herschel, my Doxie-Beagle, was fine jumping up on things. Well, Saturday evening he would jump up on the sofa. I thought oh no. When Herschel walked around he looked like the Hunchback of Notre Dam. Herschel has an appointment to see the Veterinarian next Monday. I have been giving him lowdose Asphrin. This seems to help him. Well, at least Herschel isn't dragging his butt around. I have had other Dachshunds in the past and surgery for IVDD is very expensive. Please keep Herschel in your thoughts and prayers.
Given your description of what you like in a diamond painting- you would hate the one I am working on! It is large (70x120), all neutral colors and about 70% of the picture is a bookcase! - and each book is not well defined. Lots of confetti. It doesn't bother me because all I care about is the fact that I like the image and the rendering is good. I do think this one is going to be really pretty when it is done.
@@kaywhittington4612 - As long as the rendering is beautiful, I would be fine with it. I’m going to continue with the process on mine and see how it turns out. Yours is a large canvas!
My aunt bought me a diamond painting for my birthday months ago. I hardly do it because it makes my eyes go double and back hurts me. These dots you put on the thingy are so tiny and easy to lose
Try using a light pad - helps me greatly! Are the symbols clear on your canvas? There is poured clue on the canvas so the drills stick and stay on your painting. Thanks for watching!
