Thank you so much! This was exactly what I needed. I greatly appreciate your calm and precise teaching method. Just in case anyone else can't see the "metals" gradients, I found them by opening the Gradient Panel (Window > Gradients) and from the menu bar dropped down to Legacy Gradients.
I change my width and height to the 16x130 px and I get a rectangle that 16 px wide and 130px. NO DIAMOND SHAPE. What am I missing? I followed this step by step from the start.
I am absolutely loving your tutorials, and am super happy that I found you! I love how easy to follow along and clearly instructed they are, enough so that I can follow along without watching the video and just work with you as you go rather than switching back and forth! I am having one issue I am sure is my own user error, but when I go to change the width and height (@ 2:00 Minutes in video) of the pixels after putting my square at 45 degrees it just makes a new angled rectangle instead of a diamond shape and I can not seem to figure out how to fix it.
Just make sure you have your shape selected. You don’t have to select the shape tool again, just hit “u” on the keyboard to bring up the shape tools up on top to make adjustments, I hope this helps 😊
@@marissasmylie7548 it is doing the same thing for me as well. Not sure if there is an issue with the new version of photoshop, but I just get the same shape and it is not the shape of a diamond.
@@stephaniescreationsllc That's what I am thinking too, must be a PS issue! I ended up creating the diamonds in illustrator with another tutorial and then following along this video from where you duplicate the diamond shapes to get the desired effects.
