I could give you so many thumbs up. I am watching this for the how maniest time and every time, I get fascinated how you simplify a process. Thank you! I hope you can come back and share your new discoveries. It is so inspiring!
Thanks so much for this tip. It is such a GREAT way to create a seamless pattern. Offset doesn't always work as well, like you pointed out. Love this technique!!!!!!
Great suggestion! I have a fur tutorial that might work for this, you can watch it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JsDrpo--HFU.html
Great tutorial! I have a question about marble gold texture - it doesn't work with bigger size documents - I mean clouds (first step) look bad, the whole pattern is much smaller. Can I adjust the size of clouds? I want to create a big size of the project but with marble like in your tutorial. In this tutorial you said that this method is not going to work with some kind of textures, so what can I do to make bigger size of marble and still keep look it good?
The easiest way is to make the cloud pattern on a much larger canvas but keep the power of two (64x64, 128x128, 512x512, 2048x2048,etc.) these dimensions will make your clouds seamless automatically. If the clouds are created too small for your design you will have scaling issues. I may do a full tutorial to explain this at some point.
@@PrettyWebzMedia Yeah, exactly! That's an issue! When I am using the size from tutorial it looks really nice, but when I am using bigger size, clouds look totally different. It would be great to see tutorial about scaling! Thank you :)
