Thanks for watching guys, what Australian animal would you like us to cover next? And please think about checking us out on Patreon at www.patreon.com/wickedwildllife
Another super informative episode Nick, which I absolutely love! I had no idea that Diamond Pythons could thermogenerate to that extent, that is really fascinating stuff! I love Carpet Pythons in general, they are just such awesome snakes and gorgeous to match. Cheers Nick! - Harrison and Evan
How freaky! I was just thinking to myself how beautiful that python is, and just as I was thinking that thought, you said it’s one of the prettiest pythons out there, and we’re only 20 seconds into the video...WOW! You’ve already amazed me! Let’s see what lies ahead...
Love Diamonds, very rare in the private industry! Definitely one of the most unique species out there. I thought there used to be a video on Morelia Bredli, can't find it though. I'd love to see another on them.
Nick, your enthusiasm shows well in this video. Awesome animals, well worth our attention. That Shivering thing is amazing. Thanks for all the great info. Look forward to whatever creature you want to feature next! Sorry you are cooling down again. Hot as you know where here in Rural Mexico, but by golly now we have our Solar Panels and make far more electricity than we use, so Fans and AC are again parts of our lives. Be Well!
They sure are one of our beautiful pythons and l so wish that my girl had been one to thrive but l had no end of health issues with her. The vet concluded she had Nido virus and though l had kept her woll for the most part she would have a flare up of it and back to square one again. Certainly feel our climate here is really not the best for them and outside setup would be the best way to keep them.
We actually are not aloud to keep any wild caught reptiles here in Australia! But I have found many many carpet pythons in garages when I worked in Queensland, locally our snakes are all tiger snakes and copperheads though
Hey Nick, do you know much about Bredli Pythons? I have read a lot of conflicting reports on how big they grow. do you know how big to expect them to grow? The breeder I got it from said around 3m, but some on the internet say 4m, others on the internet say 1.5m lol
Just like other carpet pythons, robust, beautiful and hardy. Can be nippy as babies but should calm down after a while. I recommend these to people who has experience with one or two snakes before and that wants a challenge
Hahaha, these days my American viewers outnumber the aussies, and I’m always swamped with “can you convert that to feet, inches ect” where as aussies seem to be able to understand both, so used acres to save awnsering a dozen requests to convert 😂
I'm also an Aussie and in Qld living on acreage we still use the term acres as well, and yes we do know and sometimes use metric hectares too but acres is most widely used around here when talking about sizes of paddocks/properties. For all other things we use metric terms.
