I only just found your videos. I have noticed other reptile keepers have success with target training or showing a device (Frisbee etc) to indicate feeding v not feeding? Snake discovery use this on their gator Rex and even cam from camos reptiles uses something like this for his bigger reptiles. Could you use this with some of your snappier snakes when you want to get them out? I always love finding new Aussie keepers
I have been watching hundreds of vids on a set up and yours by far is the best and well made! Im getting a new 17 inch Jungle carpet soon. Looks really good. Ever thought of adding a water feature? How do you regulate humidity? What kind of lamp is that. Looks GREAT thank you!
Hi there thanks for the comment and nah not really gonna add a,water feature but regarding humidity I have a large water bowl in there plus my reptile room had a pretty high humidity during spring and summer and during winter I have a second heat mat under the water bowl and glad wrap 2/3 of the top mesh to keep the humidity up, kinda the only draw back to mesh top enclosures lol the lamp is just a low watage heat lamp
Nah only diamond pythons need uvb hence why breeders hardly breed them compared to all the others cause they can't keep them in tubs like they do others
@@Ochibason yeah as long as they have enough space to have their own area if they want just can't feed them together but other than that u can mix most carpets together providing they are similar sized and have space I've also got 2 diamonds together and 2 children's together and yeah would be nice if my jungles bread lol just hatched some children's the other day though.
@@reptiplantworks2294 This is good to know and will keep it in mind. Wow. For my Jungle Carpet she is now 24 inches new, will be building a 4.5 foot by 4 foot tall 2.5 foot deep Vivarium Bioactive and a water feature pool. Added grow lamps for plants. Not a big fan but I think Bamboo and regular Ficus to start and some Bromeliads...
