This is Diana's Masterpiece, a singer 'storyteller', the sung story is of an orphan girl who wants to get married and without the presence of her parents to bless her, she resorts to the spirits of the river to ask for the blessing, she is part from the (rich) culture of Russia, in the 70s, Alla Pugacheva sang this song, Diana recreates the musical past in a special way, two years before singing this song, she did a 1-year immersion in Yodel's technique(12) years and at 13 participated in The Voice Russia, she was not accepted, and the world discovered this Pure Diamond of musicality.

another great, heartfelt reaction! yes, this song speaks to Diana. it was what brought her to national attention in Russia. She has said that sometimes she goes into an almost trance-like state and won't even remember the performance. If you like her stage presence and that tribal sound you should listen to Rechenka (The River) which she sang at 14. It is based on Russian folktales about a young betrothed orphan girl who goes to the river, the boundary between the living and the dead, to ask her deceased mother's blessing for her marriage. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fEcvVINA304.html This is from the show You Are Super, a show for disadvantaged and orphaned children. Диана ! Это девушка которая прожила две жизни! Небо одарило ее голосом и талантом которое я не нахожу в обозримом времени ,не менее 250 лет со времен Моцарта. Это противоречие легко снимается Дианой Анкудиновой; вы перестаёте воспринимать этот жизнерадостный ритм уже через несколько секунд. Этот невероятный голос, эта эмоциональная энергия, этот неотразимое артистическое обаяние неумолимо направляют вас в нужное русло, вводят вас в правильное настроение, погружают вас в почти гипнотическое состояние. Большинство слушателей, вообще-то, не понимают слова этой песни - что не мешает им испытывать эмоции, точно соответствующие тому, что делает на сцене Диана Анкудинова. И в дополнение к этому - каждый может услышать ещё и что-то своё... Диана Анкудинова отчётливо произносит французский текст; но повторюсь: текст, на самом деле, не важен. Thanks Dr Marisan. G'day from wet Spring here, out of Warrnambool, Australia. I have been researching Diana as a gifted phenomenon for over 18 months now, and I have listened, I believe, to all of her videos, plus (maybe all) her reactors. Certainly, I have heard most, the count now stands at 764 as I have heard individual different reactors and ticked them off on my list. And, for many of these reactors, I have heard all of their ouvre of Diana tracks. So somewhere near all of her reactor's videos. So, long ago now I began to class and rate reactors. All too many of them are little more than I-indulgence. The best are not necessarily the vocal experts, though that does rate highly with me when it is both pertinent and exquisite, but I also rate highly those who can evaluate emotional artistry and have a gift for being able to articulate that feeling - for its artistic meaning. Very few do this. Some who can do that have little to no vocal training at all. Your two reactions do both, so you rate high on my list, even though you are of recent provenance. So I'd like to hear more from you. Recommendation 1. Диана Анкудинова (Diana Akudinova): Кони привередливые" - (either Picky Horses; Finicky Horses, Ornery Horses, Fastidious Horses etc)- the Vysotsky classic - There are a number of live versions. I think this is her first - live at the Capercailie's Nest Bard Club in Moscow on 17 Sept 2020. What a great reaction, this song gave her initial fame and rightfully so. If you need a recommendation then how about you listen to Diana's performance of "CROW": ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1AT7SZDDHo8.html I think this is her if not the best then at least top 3 overall performances combining great visuals, choreography and of course vocal prowess.

You really must react to her masterpiece....her performance of the old Russian folk song Rechenka, which she performed on the You Are Super Show at age 14, and where her wide range of vocal techniques is on full display (a vocal analyst's dream). There are subsequent videos of her performing this song that are not as good, so you should ignore them.
