I love this performance and of course all of her performances on this particular show were phenomenal but wait till you get to "Crow" her 7th song, that one is indeed an experience.

There were 9 genres of music they had to perform over the course off the show. Thus Diana sang in many different styles. Hi thanks for your reaction, there are no special effects or backtracking of Diana’s voice and the song it is all her. What you are hearing Diana has the ability to seeing with polyphonic overtones which is what makes her so special and unique. If you don’t believe me there are plenty of videos where you can see her singing in a basement with no fancy m,e just her cell phone and she sounds the same,

She is a dramatic contralto,and she can reach mezzo-soprano (half soprano) range. That's why she has that two-voice effect, it's her actual voice.

Diana Ankudinova was only 15 when she did "Wicked Game". Diana Ankudiova is now 18 and has 3 more years of voice training and you can really hear it. There is no electronic voice manipulation at all. Diana is a real polyphonic singer which in itself is a rare talent and is a vocal technique that creates two different tones at the same time which makes it sound like two different voices at the same time. Diana does this through the resonance which is created by the airflow through the lungs, throat, mouth, and tongue placement which is why some people mistakingly think she is using a voice synthesizer to manipulate her sound, or there's another voice singing, or she is singing over a pre-recorded track, which she is not. Also, the judges on this panel are all professional singers themselves and in this show, they compete and judge each other. By the way, the judge on the top row that stands up is a famous opera singer that's well known in Russia. As an FYI, Diana won this competition.

That belt at the end had me thinking "somebody get on the horn with Arjen from Aryeon, I think we found him another metal vocalist". One of the categories for this show was Rock Hit and Diana sang a really famous Russian Rock song with the original singer as the guest. It's called Way (Путь in Russian). It's short but sweet. This show was unique in format and such a treat I ended up watching every episode. It would air Saturday morning pacific time and there were people from all over the world in the chat. Even though a lot of us were watching for Diana by the end of it I liked most of the singers. One of the unique things about the show was that the singers were also the judges (including Diana). It used Eurovision style scoring where at the end of each episode you'd have to score everyone but yourself from 9 to 2, without giving out the same point amount more than once. The daily winner would perform an encore to send off the episode. So you'd get 9 songs + the encore of the daily winner each week from 9 categories. Diana of course blew the doors off their hinges on the first episode. She sang a few encores and won the cumulative total. She's done some concerts and her usual Bard Club lounge sets, along with a new radio live set on Autoradio showing off some of her new originals and some covers. She also released her first full length album in December. A very interesting show both in concept and in terms of production quality. Very spectacular, expensive and what is more important - very vivid, cheerful and fun. Well, Diana... What can I say - incomparable, delicious. In many of her performances, she was completely unexpected. I recommend taking a look at all her performances on this show.

First, her control over her straight tones is incredible. Second, in the remarks portion, multiple members of the jury remarked on the unbelievable amount of energy they felt moving through them during this performance-they said they'd never experienced anything like it. The gentleman who stood up in the jury, is the husband of Russian uber-soprano Anna Netrebko, so he knows powerful voices (he's an opera singer himself, Yusif Eyvasov)! He was just stunned by her. All these pros gobsmacked by a 18 year old's voice. Amazing 🤯🥰❤️ Edited to add: she does this whole song using ONLY the first two lines of the original song, repeated 🙌🏼❤️
