The Duduk has been playing in today's Armenia and the Caucasus for over 1500 years. The Duduk is a woodwind instrument made of apricot wood (short oboe) with an extremely large double reed that is up to ten centimeters long and up to three centimeters wide. The Duduk makes a thoughtful and melancholy sound. The soft tones emanate a magic that casts its spell over and over again. The unique sound of the Duduk has now fascinated the whole world. * The legend of Duduk: The young wind began to play with a beautiful tree on the mountain, wonderful sounds flew over the mountains. The prince of the winds was annoyed by this and caused a great storm to rise. The young wind tried to defend his tree, but his strength was not strong enough. He fell at the feet of the prince of the winds and asked him not to destroy the beauty. He agreed, but at the same time punished him: 'If you leave the tree, it will be destroyed'. For me the song is a contemplative and reflective conversation with myself. It makes me forget time and reality. But I also think everyone will hear something different in the song. Diana's velvety voice and the Duduk... wonderful. ...and again a magical and extraordinary work of art was created by the trio: Poetry: Maria Tarasenko - Unfortunately I couldn't find anything about her. Music/ poetry/ production: Brandon Stone (stage name) (*1980 in Tbilisi, Georgia, SSSR). He is an excellent jazz pianist, composer, poetry, singer and music producer. He study jazz piano at the 'Hans Eisler' music academy in Berlin. After ten years in Germany and some times in USA now he lives in Russia with a wife and two children. He composed hundreds of songs for the New Wave in Russia and sold around 2,000,000 records, mostly as a composer or lyricist, mainly in the former CIS countries.
