I only discovered this beautiful singer a week ago, I cannot stop listening to her. I would buy her album immediately. Her stage presence is spectacular, she is just WOW! I love how she incorporates her yodel into her singing, this is something quite new & refreshing. Dare I say........this is the future. Her performance is such, that although I don't understand Russian language, she transcends any language barrier by her performance. OMG I would travel to Russia to watch her perform, though I hope for her that she becomes the World Class Act that she undoubtedly is. Over five days I've been watching reactions of this young lady (probably 50+) from all over the world. Without exception, every single one has given the same response as you. I can't think of any more superlatives to explain how she makes me feel but now everytime I hear her, it crushes my heart and makes me very emotional. Wow! Your reaction to this incredible young lady was pretty much how I reacted when I discovered her and her music only a few days ago. Diana Ankudinova is now 15, indeed she will actually turn 16 on 31st May 2019. The show she is on here is Ты супер! (translated as "You are Super") and it is for children who have found themselves without parental care at some point in life. According to the programme, Diana was abused by her biological mother until around the age of 3 years, and ended up in an orphanage. While there, a massage nurse named Irina Ponik took care of her, and a strong bond was formed, to the extent that a year afterward Diana was adopted by Irina, and Irina has been her "Mom" ever since. Diana is now with a loving family, and her music training goes from strength to strength. Since winning the show, she has received much support from Igor Krutoy, who you will know also from his musical arranging and piano playing for Dimash. Diana's cover of ""Man's World" on the same show is mind blowing too, and I would love if you would react to her singing it when you can. To say more the biological mother tried to kill Diana (to drown her in the bath). So the girl had nightmares for many years after that: full darkness and crasy eyes of her alcoholic mother. Her mother didn't want this child (she had 12 pregnancies and Diana was the only one who survived, her father is unknown). She asked her adpotive family to move far away from the town they lived - she was afraid her mother would find her. So they moved thousands of km from Ussuriysk to another region where she grew up and began to sing.

By far, the best conclusion reaction to this video that I've seen. IT IS dumbfounding, inexplicable, Earthy, Raw, Captivating...... There is something truly pure about this song, the delivery, the artistry and the production. I'm sure most of that production was Igor's and not her idea. But, the mood and feeling it imprinted on my brain will last forever. Her story, the songs story, the symmetry is perfect. The performance (while flawed technically at times) was perfect. Не знаю, что там с версией утопленницы, не читывала. Обычно в древней ведической традиции невеста "умирала" для своего рода, переходя для дальнейшего развития и реинкарнации в Род мужа. Поэтому девушек "хоронили" для своего Рода (голосили, оплакивали, что отразилось и в этой песне и никак не доказывает утопления невесты), но она "возрождалась" в другом. I was watching her from 12 years on now she has grown into an inspiration at 16 years old. Her speciality is she can sing and evaluate any Voice and she is able to fold her tongue in the middle and make a star like image and she loves making or copying any animal or birds voice if she can't copy it she felt a bit upset and eventually get the hang of it. I agree, this is how true folk culture sounds... sometimes it's weird but full of deep sense. In the North America only Indean aborigines and Eskimoses continue to keep that knowledge, i guess. Find and look at "Human", "Derniere Danse" and "Snow storm".

Да... Старик Вагнер был бы рад услышать Диану. Но для Валькирии она слишком русская (хотелось бы объяснить свои слова, но, боюсь, не смогу).
