I wished to see the one whit Verin when Matthew almost didn't told in front of her husband that her former role was seductress for the family, she attacked he whit her witch wind. I really wished to see that scene.

YESSSSS .........Diana & Matthew' fell in love with Jack. Even Matthew's words about his boy before he went to find him was intense

The scene was better in the book, freaking epic

@@hollywoodpineapple8337in BOL (Book of Life) she traps Baldwin in the floor and sends spikes up around his legs and body to trap him. She pulls Jack away from him to safety. Matthew tells Baldwin that he must agree not to go after Diana for this or he will kill him. He agrees not to go after Diana. Then Matthew goes to Diana to ask her to release Baldwin as they cannot be at war with each other. She finally releases Baldwin.

Yes and no it wasn’t entirely jacks fault he was used, abused and manipulated by Benjamin I think that’s his name along with his blood rage inherent from Matthew. Matthew understood more then anyone else as did Diana but trying to kill jack in front of them without even talking it through was a stupid as mistake on baldwins part.

I believed the same until I reached the episode where jack was manipulated by benjamin into doing those heinous acts....he clearly didn't want to and resisted.

Well these people arent human beings...they ive on an entirely different world...

Did you ever read the books? Do you understand anything about a fictional character and story? Who was going to put Diana in prison? SMH.

I don’t know if you’ve seen the show, but I’ll give you a little spoiler haha just so you know, you’ve been warned. Diana is very much a “modern woman” and puts up with no shit. She even went as far as telling Matthew (the vampire) that he didn’t have to hold doors open for her and that she can handle herself. Personally, I think it goes a little bit far in making that known. I think it’s polite to hold doors for people, it’s not a sex issue, but I understand the point they were trying to make. But there’s nothing sexist in the show, so if you’re a strong feminist type, I think you’d really enjoy it cause they have a lot of political moments. Like Diana was raised by her aunts, her lesbian aunts. And they’re cool too. I won’t reveal anymore just cause of spoilers, but I think you’ll love this show. Diana is a witch with great power that she’s just begun to harness (being binded & lied to as a child to protect her)Nothing can keep her down I say all of this, because my Mother is a strong feminist type (she was a single mom who escaped my abusive father) and she ADORES this show. So don’t worry, it’s a great show.

@@kadebebesis4204 Its why a lot of "modern women" have trouble holding on to relationships. That part of the show was some Fem Bullshit fact! The I can get my own door is getting old and really shows you what they are about. Nothing wrong with chivalry but here we are today getting more of these lines as if they are cool in movies and shows! Fact is they are really cringe! Nothing more. And this show did put a few more cringe woke bullshit in it. Over all good story line. But these types of lines are getting old as hell if you ask me.

How on earth is their relationship in any way “sexist?” Bahahahahaha......that couldn’t be further from what these books are about. These are far beyond “fan fic!”

@@gailwebb9619 Sexist? Fanfic? I recently just started watching the show and reading the books and it's far better than the Twilight Fifty Shades crap. At least Diana has good character development and isn't a snarky girl boss. It took me awhile to warm up to Matthew but he's respectful and honest at times and isn't a creep ass.

@@wiinterflowers4277 plus Matthew Goode is very easy on the eyes as Matthew… I could listen to him recite the instructions on how to install a toilet and be enthralled.
