This treaty is very important, it's historic. We must continue supporting the Palestine cause, from every corner of the world, until the Palestinian people are in charge of their own future. Thank you, Frank.
Diana should be on all media regarding anything to do with Palistine. She is so well informed on all the issues and failures and has real solutions to stop this horror perpetrated on Palistine by Israel and the West.
Very important topic. I hope they can reach an agreement without compromise. We have to keep an eye on PA elements and entities with interests opposing to liberation inside and outside of Palestine.
That HOUSE is not my house. NO WAR CRIMINALS are allowed in my house. Congress is eiddled with qar criminals. Only PEACE, EARTH, OEOPLE WHO RESPWCT ALL LIFE, loving people are welcome in my house
Differences between Palestinian groups can re-emerge after liberation. That is what happened in South Africa, mainly. There was a group that cause a huge amount of violence during the transition, but did not derail the birth of a new South Africa. Resistance in South Africa was described as a broad church. That include those in prison, those in exile, trade unions, business people, a few politicians, NGOs, religious leaders, people in the liberal arts, and the people who marched, day after day ... This is what is required for Palestinian liberation, in my opinion.
I'm a senior American. I would say that the Democrats, my party, pushed Biden out for a new, younger look. He did do a lot for "new hope" domestically and has been very competent and hard working. I don't think his age affected his competence, only his presentation, which seems to matter enormously these days. However, I have been entirely against his enabling of the ongoing slaughter in Gaza and weak reaction to land theft and abuse in the West Bank. I'm glad that young people's efforts in demonstrations, as the efforts of Jewish Voice for Peace and others have affected the poles. I agree with Diana that while "a new hope" is created every four years, the political establishment never took an open and serious look at Gaza. Unfortunately this rigid and lockstep orientation is likely to persist with Kamala. There is a very strong influence here by the Israel lobby that has penetrated into even universitiy administrations.
Gosh I could not agree more with Diana’s comment you don’t negotiate with your abuser. It’s really that simple. Do not do not do not, or it won’t stop. Their system is a road you do not want to continue to go down. So bypass it by whatever means possible.
Another choice South Africans made was essentially to ban the term 'terrorist'. Resist the temptation to label anyone as a terrorist, and anything they do as terrorism, and thus dismiss them as illegitimate. The broad church accepts everyone and everyone talks to everyone else and there is a place at the table for everyone.
To blame others for actual failure is the most easiest way to excuse urself: me, never - how… exactly this must be the Questions (yesterday, now, tomorrow). #thats4sure
Thank you for this Interesting exchange, but could someone explain to a senior woman who has experienced the drama of this colonization for 40 years now, how the Israeli people take into account the actions of his head of government in this massacre, knowing that he also suffered more or less the same thing in the past.
I love and respect both Frank and Diana, but I feel so discouraged to hear her say that she doesn't think that Kamala Harris will do anything significant push back against Israel's genocide. I'm still clinging to hope that she will do that. The situation is beyond horrible, as we all know.
Abase got to go he’s old and he’s afraid that if he disobey Israel he may nat survives so he goes against his own people no more a new president will be chosen by Palestinian I hope the chose the best one to fight for them and keep them safe from Zains
