She mentioned love for Mary Wilson. I feel that was genuine. They will always be soul sisters regardless of the "issues" in their past. Not all friendships are perfect. Friends sometimes love and dislike each other. It's what makes us human.

the hip hop commuinity owes her a HUGE debt of gratitude. Why do I say that?..because there are some of us who love hip hop, that actually remember when she left the Supremes in the late 70s and went solo. And what happened after that, was a powerful black woman, who GOT PAID one of the largest recording contracts ever given to a black female singer. She showed hip hip nation, that BLACK superstardom is possible. And more important than that...she showed us, you dont have to apologize for being smart, rich and fabulous.
I love how Diana has always kept her children first in her life rather than pursue more wealth when they were young. They said she made an effort to get back to them everyday when she was on the road when possible...to see them off to school as much as possible. That had to be hard.
