Tracy Sharp I think many blacks in the USA didn’t even know about Apartheid until very late. It was never discussed in media or depicted in movies to my knowledge. @the grand canyon is Egypt We had a great childhood in Detroit and the whole area in those days, the 60s and 70s. Detroit was much different then. There w as so much for kids to do and enjoy. Television, although there were only 3 main channels (ABC, CBS and NBC), along with a few independent stations. They all had many programs for children and families to watch together. Canada was close by so we also got their television stations.
