I'm so glad I was born in the era, 'of Diana Ross,' & through the madness in life that seems to hit one in the face and for me, 'she's what kept me sane and reason(s) to stay and strive and strive I have even at all most 64 3/4th year old!
Wow her voice has not changed not at all same since the time she started singing when she started singing and to tell you all humans living and the dead she is the very best female performer in the world.
Go Diana she sounded great a beautiful Voice .this was after The Supremes. She did well after leaving a famous group. Of the Nineteen sixty's. 1960's. Sung those sungs. Her voice was golden. .
Live concert voice better than the records y'all. Now that's talent! ;) Biggest selling singer of her era. No one could compete with her, not even Barbra. Pffft! Barbra wouldn't even do concerts :/
Superb, the biggest star of her era, still going too, at 72. She's amazing, her recent Hollywood Bowl concerts were great, and she looked fabulous also.
Wish I had been there.voice to thin. Nasal and weak.jipes that have been thrown at her for ever.that voice is totally unique and so beautiful and in my opinion the best.what a performer.simply the best out there.love her.
She has a very reedy unique voice almost flute like. And her gift is she loves performing. She makes you smile. Donna Summer had the voice as did Whitney but I never got the feeling they loved performing like Diana did. But for gosh sakes why is that stage so tiny. Like she had five feet of depth. Was worried about edge
@@Kreatures100 she never left darling. She's been lurking in the shadows. Watching and waiting. Eagerly anticipating, for just that right moment to STRIKE!!!
At the Hollywood Bowl I was referring to her voice the same when she started singing and when she joined the two ladies Mary Wilson and the other woman forgotten her name the Supreme. She looks fabulous and her voice remains the same very good at her age.
Alain Quartermaine Your concern towards the way i name or call Miss Diana Ross, Diana Ross, Lady Ross, Miss Ross and Whatever-the-hell-i-wanna-call-her Ross, is not my concern.
I'm a big fan. She doesn't have the best voice, it's thin and piercing and she sings off key more often than on and struggles to hit those high notes BUT her voice is unique and cannot be mistaken for anyone else. She has star quality and it all somehow works. She has sold millions of records as a Supreme and as a solo star. She helped pave the way for those female performers who followed and stand on her shoulders. Diana Ross doesn't get the recognition she so rightly deserves for her achievements. Only Elvis & the Beatles were bigger than the Supremes during the 60s- a fact that is rarely acknowledged by pop/rock historians & journalists. 18 No1 hit records on Billboard- not many come close! STILL achieving No1 hits on the dance charts at 75- 3 in the past 2 years! DIVA!
