I watched on Netflix just last night. I loved the costumes. I was impressed by how they manipulated the wedding gown and the green ball gown. The actual plot seemed rushed to me (that famous Korea photo wasn't portrayed and that was pretty iconic). I really thought the music was plaigiarized and the lyrics lame. In fact, the opening chords made me think I'd played "Shrek the Musical" instead of "Diana".
WOW!! Wan't to see this !!.. Just can't believe five (5) YEARS to bring this musical to life..!!! That is 5 yeats of missed prjoects, etc!! AMAZING Such tenacity !! BRAVO!!
Like “Jersey Boys” and other great ones that went to Broadway and beyond … “Diana” also began at The La Jolla Playhouse … and recruited Christopher Ashley to direct on Bdwy, to boot! Kudos to The La Jolla Playhouse!!
**Shout out to Ashli Babbit on 9 months of her permanent tourist visit. Took some tough love but she finally is staying put! SAY HER NAME TRUMPICANS!**
