I am 71 yrs olf I have been using diatomatious earth for 9 years. I only take one medicine a class 2 pain drug due to surgery, and many vitamines... I use to have a bm 1every 3 to 5 days.. Now on DE I move 2x daily no stress no strain.. I take 1 tsp per day. anytime, when every I am close to the cabinet it sits in.. Good Luck.. My 86 yr old neighbor also has stopped her diarreah since taking DE..I only get 1 cold yearly

I started taking diatomaceous earth roughly a week and a half ago (prior to stumbling on your video - which is GREAT by the way!). I am IN LOVE with DE! I had no idea how much arthritic joint pain I was suffering from. I'm 32 and have danced all my life (started at age 3). The first day of taking it, my neck was killing me. The next day - no pain there! I took DE every other day or every third day. The next time I took it - similar experience, but it was my knees and hips this time. Each time the area would ache all day long, and then the next morning I would wake up with - it felt like - brand new joints! What a terrific gift from the earth!! It's been wonderful to share with others. My mom started taking it a few days after I did. I warned her about the joint pain. Hey Isca, it takes a few weeks. The headaches and some body aches are normal and good. This means that it is working. The lethargy is also normal. Detoxing is tough. Drink lots and lots of water. Being really tired all the time was the hardest for me to deal with, I drank tons of water so my headaches were minimal. When you start getting your energy back is when the detoxing is ending. Stay with it.

I have been taking the food grade DE for a couple months now. The main thing i noticed is that the heartburn i used to get very bad has mostly gone away. It was just awful., but now mostly gone. I just take a teaspoon of DE in a large glass of Tang water since i hate plain water. I sip it all day.Works good. I do get my powder of DE from a health store here. A small bag cost $8 and lasts me 2 months. I just bought another bag. But you just gave me an idea. I am going to put it in my dog and cats water bowl now. I didn't think of that before. Thanks.

Thank you, I needed this information. Spot on with activated charcoal too. Another thing that might benefit during this detox is Fresh orange juice with Black salt. I learned from my Indian Mother-in-law. It makes sense taking sulfur with Vit.C. These old cultures did things right.

Loved your video and how you explained DE. I took it for 2 years on and off and never experienced anything bad like headaches. I think it was because I was already cleaned out and eating a whole food plant based diet. My Dr. Put me on it. I haven't taken it for about 3 months and watching you reminded me to get back on it. Thanks for this video. It's factual and informative. I never took it myself (although I will now) but I fed it to all the animals and fowl on our livestock farm to keep away parasites and diseases. I never had to get a vet for them, and NEVER had to use wormer in any of them. In fact, a little of it sprinkled around the pastures seemed to keep the fly eggs from hatching, too.

Just started adding AC to my DE routine. In morning, DE (2 tsp.), AC (1/8 tsp. every other day) and it just hit me, won't the AC absorb and flush out the silica from the DE if taken at the same time. You also suggest taking DE first thing in morning lemon water. Will the DE absorb and flush out the vitamin c from the lemon juice?
@@keshiaparker3173 DE has a negative charge and this only removes or impacts things with a positive charge. Things like bad bacteria, parasites, yeast, fungus, cancer etc. while vitamins and minerals are negative so the DE ignores it. Keep in mind, your body recognizes the silica aspects and uses them. I’d cut back just a bit. Apple cider vinegar is great at night. Personally I take my DE by itself 2-3 hours before anything else 3x a week (teaspoon) and I drink lemon water with ginger and chia seeds the rest of the week.

the most entertaining health video I've ever seen! thanks so much. I've been taking on and off for a year. Consistently to start with. Just about to resume, as, well, you've just reminded me how great the stuff is. Just to note, I never use a metal spoon with de. As DE is apparently electrically charged naturally and to use a spoon would effect and neutralise the charge, if I understand correctly. I use a little wooden spoon, but silicon or plastic are fine. But, again thanks for being a joy to watch.
Michelle H. - just take it slow. Everyone is in a hurry. No hurry. Take it at a dose you feel safe with and stay with it. Increase dose until you get to around a tablespoon a day. After a few months you can back off a bit and take it 2-3 times a week. Stay hydrated and take biotin and vitamin C along with your magnesium.

This is the video that got me started on DE and I have been using a food grade product since. One day I got a bag with a sticker on it that indicated that it is known to cause cancer. The sticker was required by "Proposition 65" which is a California law to help people make better decisions about purchasing potentially harmful products. The crazy thing is, the information provided about this label is limited and you have to search the internet to understand why a specific product is potentially harmful. Diatomaceous Earth can be inhaled when airborne and the State’s Qualified Experts (SQEs) have indicated "Silica, crystalline (airborne particles of respirable size)" as causing cancer in humans or laboratory animals. Silica is the main ingredient of Diatomaceous Earth. The intent of the law seems good but if you purchase a product that has dozens of ingredients you will have to do a lot of searching to find out why it may not be safe. The law actually creates fear and confusion when a warning sticker with very little information is used. Maybe a followup video rant on this topic is in order. ;-) I am still using food grade DE and I am mindful about not inhaling the product.

My wife and I have both up the ante with activated charcoal, milk thistle for liver support, two different types of amazing magnesium supplements that are High absorption, high quality chewable digestive enzymes along with our food grade Diatomaceous Earth! It was great how you explained and broke down how diatomaceous earth really works. I believe I'm on my 5th day using it taking one teaspoon twice a day since I'm a bigger guy with no adverse effects. My wife on the other hand is doing a half a teaspoon once a day and she's definitely noticing a difference already on her fourth day.
Hi SinatraKennedy. I really enjoy your video on DE. I have also shared it with some friends who have asked about taking it because I agree with what others say here, that your video is the best. I really like your personality in explaining this. I ordered DE about 4 months ago and took it for about 2-3 weeks. Bad me, I gave up before the detox was over I believe because I have never had a real detox before, and I think there was probably so much junk in my body that my detox was taking longer than some others. I started again a little over a week ago with a teaspoon, and a few days ago I increased to a tablespoon. I forgot my dose one day and took a tablespoon the next day. I noticed on that day that my heart was beating like crazy even when I was relaxing. I went to check my blood pressure and my Diastolic had skyrocketed to a number way abnormal for me. I have always had very good blood pressure and have never seen numbers as high as they were. They were in the 90's, and usually mine has never been above 70, 80 at the very most. I felt the same way waking up today, and the numbers were still high, actually a point or 2 higher than the other day. Could the detoxing effects from DE be causing my numbers to go up? I am thinking this may be what the cause is since it does put so much strain on your kidneys and other organs that do play a role in especially the Dialostic reading. My top number on the reading, the systolic, has still been ok. I can't find any information about this on Google, so decided you may know if DE could temporarily cause this, or if I might should get it checked out. I know DE is supposed to lower blood pressure, but I figured the detox phase could temporarily raise it given the strain it puts on your organs and all of the bad stuff getting in your blood stream.
Miranda Brewer - detoxing can cause a temp change but usually as you noted it lowers blood pressure. Detoxing can create all types of havoc on the body. Keep an eye on that pressure and exercise like crazy. Be sure to drink tons of water to flush things out. Keep us posted, I do not sense an underlying issue, especially if it was only temporary.
Thank you for the reply. I just checked it again and it is starting to go back down. I don't think I was drinking quite enough water and my kidneys were suffering a little trying to clean out everything the DE is removing. I have started to drink more water also and have noticed that is also when my blood pressure started going down again. And getting out of bed more. I have been really drained energy wise and super tired feeling so I know I am not getting enough exercise just laying around. This all makes sense in what happened with the spike so I am not going to worry as long as it stays down now.
Your 47 and look to be in Your early 30s. I can't believe how well this stuff works. There are people I found out about whom have vitamin D deficiencies, forgetting in their old age, and all sorts of quirks. personally I want to see if this is better than cumin blackseed oil. Already easier consume. Coconut oil goes well with this stuff. I have had no problem pooing in the bathroom. But if you out of practice with coconut oil, stack the charmen. Just started watching your videos on healing. I'm a 40 year old male. Had alot of problems with bladder infection in 2016 day before new years eve. And my life has changed so much from taking alot of antibiotics and have Candida and suffer from depression etc etc all the shit that comes with it. Tried so many things to heal fast. But I now know that this will help me and I have the charcoal ready as I've done a ton of research on it. But this has made me feel great today. I’ve been on DE for approximately a month. I noticed first, I had alot of energy. Before DE, I definitely wasn’t as energetic. Second, yes it helps me poo, although i was always regular. Third, it helped strengthen my nails. My left ring finger nail had always cracked and the DE did help with that since I had been dealing with this nail cracking for about 3 years. Fourth, in the beginning it gave me headaches no matter how much water I drank. I drink on an empty and wait atleast 45 minutes before eating or taking my meds/vitamins. Started with 1 teaspoon, now I’m at a heaping table spoon.
Scrambled Eggs that’s excellent! Yes, the metal detox is hard on the brain. Headaches are common and I think it’s the lead, Mercury and aluminum being pulled out.
I realized for me, it works best when I take on an empty stomach. After about 20-30 minutes after my DE, I drink a cup of muddy coffee. Then maybe another 20-30 minutes, I’ll take my meds and vitamins. Then, maybe a while later I’ll eat my first meal. Usually, I go #2 after the large cup of DE, and another #2 after my muddy coffee. Then I feel lighter from loss of waste, I feel better from loss of waste, and I don’t feel super hungry like I used to before DE. Kinda like it suppresses my appetite just a tad bit in the mornings. And as for the energy, it gave me more than enough energy to tackle some tough yard work. And I too started taking it just to scrub my guts.
Thank you for the video! I am taking DE for 6 days and built the dose up. Last night I took a tablespoon for first time and today have a headache that does not go away. I am going to add activated carbon now with my intake and reduce to DE dose to teaspoon again. All the best.
Ivo Heemskerk - I appreciate the status. Yes, too much and the detox will overload your body causing awful headaches, BUT usually it's from not being hydrated enough. Be sure to get some BLACK SEED OIL and take a teaspoon a day. Eat lots of cucumbers and avocados and as you know, avoid sugars (this includes starches and carbs). Add Lemon to you water because Candida hates it. Good luck! 👊🏼

If you don't ever want to take antibiotics then try Olive Leaf. It will kill all bacteria, viruses and fungus. I get it on Amazon., the whole leaves is better. I take a crock pot, fill it with water, add 3-4 hand fuls of olive leaves, slow cook for ten hrs at least. Cool down. Pour into small plastic water bottles. Freeze for emergencies or keep a couple in the fridge. Tastes bitter. Add apple juice if you like, but i just guzzle it down fast. Will prevent and cure a flu or cold!! When you are done with the first batch. Add half more of the water and slow cook again to get everything out of the leaves. Throw leaves away or put in compost.

I noticed that there are no studies on DE on pubmed- why? because they can't make a dime on it. I'm willing to accept anecdotal evidence about so many health issues. I've lost faith in the medical industry.
Hey SK - great video. I have two questions: 1) can you take too much DE? I'm currently taking a tablespoon in the morning and one before bed - been doing this for about 2 weeks now. Maybe a little "feel bad" detoxing occurred the first couple of days but not now. Is it safe or beneficial to double my intake (i.e., 4 tbls/day)? 2) My wife has mild diverticulitis - will DE help or hurt? Thanks again! Mike
Michael The U - hello! In my opinion two tablespoons is the max that should be taken. Keep in mind that too much of anything (including water) can change its benefits. DE is not toxic at any level BUT it may contain arsenic and though it’s water soluble, I wouldn’t recommend too much at one time. Breaking it up for mornings and night is a good idea. You are taking just the right amount. Think of it as long term not short. As for diverticulitis, DE certainly helps by cleansing the intestines and eliminating toxins that cause inflammation (root cause of diverticulitis). My advice? Have her eat a fresh 1” square slice of raw fresh ginger EVERY DAY. This will really make a difference by helping to eliminate the “pockets” caused by diverticulitis. Ginger is also a powerful anti-inflammatory. Warm lemon juice and water (think tea) will also flush the gut. Most importantly, she needs to take one tablespoon of powdered L. Glutamine every day. This will help HEAL the gut and prevent diverticulitis while healing the existing pockets (holes that collect food particles that inflame and can go septic). Great questions.
