Exactly! Amazing nobody else seems to appreciate this advice. You are correct though. Taking away energy from the dice is one of the key elements of control shooting. At least with the shot he is using.

Mr Juse The majority of people using dice setting are not exhibited any form of “dice control”. They end up with the exact same randomness that they might as well just pick up the dice at random and toss them. In the end for the majority of people it ends up being little more than a superstitious practice. Actual dice control takes hours and hours and thousands upon thousands of shots to become proficient at doing. It’s also important to note what the purpose of dice control is: It is not a way to guarantee numbers. But it is a way to change the expected percentages of what random shooting would be. Since there are a fair number of bets that have a very reasonable house-edge (namely placing the 6 and 8); it doesn’t take alteration of the expected outcome by much to gain an advantage over the house. 7-avoidance in particular. Dropping the odds of a 7 to 7:1 already gives you an edge on the 6 and 8 (36:5 vs 36:7 aka 5:7 you won’t crap out to hit on a bet that pays 7:6) over time. The best dice controllers in the world can mitigate the 7 to a closer to 8:1 proposition (which would be a 3V that never went off-axis). It would actually change your odds of 7 vs 6 to 1:1 on a bet that pays 7:6.

I agree with both Bernie and Mr. Juse. Toss the dice gently so they can reach the alligator wall with minimal force and die. Some other so called dice controllers, are good at launching the dice with no control and too much force!

There really is no point of dice setting. Everybody's results are 100% random.

Hi, Tracy I’m a lefty so I personally prefer the left side of the stickman, It feels more natural to me. And for the set, I love the 3V set I use that all the time but I sometimes like to open up with a come out roll set(7’s throughout the set) or I’d use a hardway set then after the point is set I’ll go back to the 3V set. It all depends on how I am feeling the table that day. Thx for asking.

@@ezienex Yet folks tend to overlook the basic fact that you can actually identify & get to know your grip or toss usually grip flaws or errors like the back of your hand. And actually use this knowledge & experience to your profitable advantage at a live Casino craps table. Remember almost anything that is having any decent & legitimate consistency to itself. Is potentially profitable at a craps table. And that there is literally no one box fits all to this at all. Everybody who takes dice influencing seriously. Starts off by using & practicing who the standard textbook dice sets on average. Hardway, All 7, 3V & 2V and so on. Until you reach the level where your First hand Experience & Knowledge actually starts to supercede all this. And you start to develop your own dice sets & unique style of play. That's custom tailored to you & you only. Which incorporates all your flaws & strengths unique personal quirks, and all into one extremely dangerous craps shooter & player in the eyes of the House & Pit Boss that is. Long story short we tend to get so rigid minded & obsessed with the perfect grip & toss. That we quickly overlook that you can make $$ off your errors too. As well as not fix them yet find a way to turn them into strengths instead of weaknesses. The only thing we have over the Casino is our Mind (Open Mind imagination or Creativity.) They got all the $$$ & they already thought of how to put everything in their favor. So can't afford to allow one self to be close minded or mentally boxed in or limited by the minds of others.

Also remember it's kinda impossible to actually control the dice legally. Yet its fully possible to influence them which we do. Its properly called Dice influence or Manipulation instead of Dice Control. Dice Control would be landing them on the exact numbers & dice combinations that you actually wanted. About 70% or more of the time. Which nobody actually does or has achieved this.

Cool. Keep up with the practice but try a synchronized light spin on both dice. This will enhance your chances of avoiding a 7. Try it with the hardway set.
