"Dice & Deal" Mixed Media Art Challenge-Dec. 2017
Please join me for another "Dice & Deal" Mixed Media Challenge :) Each month I take my deck of art inspiration prompt cards (mine are from Kiala Givehand) and a pair of dice and use them to determine each month's prompts for the art journal page. I roll the dice ,and based on the number shown ( 4 or above), I will pick that number of cards and create the page based on those prompts.. I hope you find this inspirational and I encourage you to join along. This Month's Prompts:
1. Rub Gesso or Paint in random places with your fingers
2. Add a photo
3. Emboss something
4. Use a sponge or makeup wedge to dab paint in random places
5. Use watercolors
6. Doodle or draw random shapes
7. Draw something
8. Use an old toothbrush to splatter paint
9. Go WILD card

I love fairy pictures and this one is awesome it’s hard to believe that out of 9 cards that everything turned out great this one sure did though just fabulous but in your hands everything does you are a very talented artist thanks for sharing your wonderful work with us.

I love the idea of inspiration cards...I'm in a creative rut. My preference is bold and bright colors...not loving the all darkness, but art is an individual thing. thanks for sharing.

I too never quite know when to stop especially if I love the color or process. I love embossing. Oh the Karen D'Ache is primo. Those are super expensive. I'm saving up for the full set.

Obviously I have watched your channel and seen the finished articles of the Dice and Deal challenges. ..This is the first one where I found out what the dice and deal was about and I love the idea. ..I love the journals you do and I know that you could do one off paintings using the dice and deal mixed media idea but I have been really into the idea of the journals and I think I will give them a try...obviously I will upload and tag you when I do one but at the moment I'm trying to get used to hearing my Scottish accent on RU-vid lol...may take a couple more short videos but I am sure I'll get there. I am off to watch the rest of this. ..I love faeries.
