This is beautiful. Good exists everywhere. A Pakistani born guy with a Muslim background here, I attended my first Diwali festival yesterday in the UK. Everyone was so gracious , welcoming and full of offering and good will. My daughter performed Bharatnatyam on stage and everyone was wonderfully encouraging. Love is beyond confines of faith , country or background. Love is togetherness ❤

Glad to see this. Once I was lucky to celebrate Diwali in Gurgaon with my Professor and his family. Diwali is not a festival in my native or state. That was the first time in my life. I was with them for decorating their home with lights, I chanted chalaa......, then we all had food together. If I'm not wrong, that's first Diwali after my professor's son's marriage. Professor, his mother, wife, daughter, son, and daughter in law. Actually I planned to move from there before Diwali but professor asked me to stay with them, then go back to my parent institute for completing the remaining works. Such a nice family, they treated me like a family member. Beautiful moments..... ❤️❤️❤️

So much romanticising ! I remember my first Diwali after wedding, I was 3 month pregnant & it was pathetic. No gifts, nothing special, I prepared food for everyone in family & I was so tired & yeah That was it. Please don't show such ideal stories. It creates wrong idea, especially in girl's mind. They get married seeing all these lovey-dovey things & baaam!!!!! Everything shatters.
