For the first time ever, he made a villain fear him. That Doctor that was hauling ass was the same one who was being all smug and treating them like toys to be tinkered with.
I love this scene of him taking out all of the guards it was a kill or be killed sanario and he was protecting the rest of his freinds from getting killef
I'm not the biggest fan of the show or it's characterization of Dick Grayson but if you think he is too violent then I'm sorry to break it to you but Nightwing IS just as violent as Batman. He's happy, lighthearted, fun, funny, quippy and sarcastic but at the same time angry, hurt, traumatized, and in Wally's words when the Titans were in his subconscious "disturbed". He's a complex character and is very difficult to get down especially in a TV series like this one. He should have his own series that has an intresting grounded plot like the Daredevil series and breaks down the character of Dick Grayson and his importance in the DC universe.
Having his own show would actually short-change him: his importance in DC is how he ties together the various different teams, and bridges the various gaps. He's non-powered, but he's a super. He works alone, but he's a team leader. He's been around long enough to be old-guard, but he's still part of second-generation of heroes. He was a sidekick, and he's made himself his own place. When the DC universe needs someone whom everyone trusts and respects enough to lead them, they call Nightwing.
@@TheDMind They aren't displaying that all thar well here mu guy. And by that logic, Nightwing shouldn't have his own comic unless he's a tie-in character and that didn't work out in New 52 and Rebirth beyond ok runs and bad ones.
Love the show. I was part of the crowd that actually liked season 1 alot (some didn't) , even though season 2 is even better . For me , that's more a complement at how awesome season 2 has been so far , then it is i didn't like season 1. This shows meeting all my expectations and is my fave show at the moment.
I loved season 1 there was only a few little things I didn’t enjoy and I loved season 2 even more and thought season 2 was a huge improvement but he didn’t have a little downfall I’m hoping season 3 we get that amazing season that everyone finally sees
I thought Season 1 was the stronger season, despite having less action and being alot slower in terms of pacing. Season 2 had cooler fight scsnes (And Superboy was just amazing) but the writing was really lacking in comparison. I didnt understand the characters actions of just leaving the safehouse when robin tells them the truth and i ESPECIALLY hated that Donna Troy death scene. Hopefully this upcoming season is good because it might make or break it for me tbh.
I like the theme running from the first season more than the second it was darker it was good. Dark take on TITANS had me sold. And then all I can say is I hope we see more of Deathstroke after season 2 as well.
@@Adam-xi9fr and that they basically made death meaningless, All of scarecrows goons know about Batmans real identity And Having basically everything be about the batfamily instead of titans.
@@oliverrasmusson2362 I mean that all only happened because of red hood they made his character a complete wimp who desperately needed scarecrow but yea scarecrow wasn’t really a good villain either
I love this scene so much. All the superpowered people are either depowered or have gone through psychological torture simulations that made them think they are monsters so they dont dare attack the torturers in fear of proving them right. Raven innitially steps up but then backs away not wanting her mom to witness her dark side. And Nightwing who is exhausted and injured and has no superpower steps forward willing to be the monster himself and let others see him at his worse, all his monstrous self if it means he keeps his friends safe. I also like that Raven aknowledges that and forces herself to watch his fight and all his darkness accepting him while others avert their eyes from the brutality despite nightwing desperately fighting for them with all his might and all his pain. It was such a cool moment, I almost wanted the rest of the series to just evolve between Grayson and Raven running away from puruers and living on the run. I totally shipped them. Then the series introduced too many new teammates and divided screen time between them and the formula was deluted. I liked the first small cast season the best.
Literally how? The choreography and cinematography of the Daredevil hallway fight is in another league from this. You can barely see anything in detail.
Because they had been thru alot in that asylum and Dick felt he was there protector and kinda felt responsible for them , so he wanted to protect them when they were feeling low and vulnerable from all the torture they endured . It was a fatherly moment for Dick imo.
They were all depleted and depowered and pretty much would have been useless in the fight anyways. Hence why hand to hand combat skills is a need to know as a hero. With or without powers.
This show showed a more Red Hood version of Dick Grayson, so it makes sense that Red Hood fans like it. I wasn't really a fan myself. Robin/Nightwing never resorted to killing anyone. In fact, he was the kind of hero that went to great pains to make sure villains didn't die... even accidentally. I wish we had a series that actually showcased Dick Grayson's real character. Not a Jason Todd interpretation of him.
