@@davida7808 nah all the areas he was hitting led to broken bones and bruises but none seemed lethal, even with the shurikens they landed in the eyes, hands etc which can leave them crippled for like but definitely wont kill, he almost never pierced any lethal arteries and the punches might give concussions but wont kill
@@Kaoticreeper He jammed the sharp edge of a disassembled handgun into the neck of one of those guys. If someone didn't know anything about this show and saw this, they'd think they were watching Jason Todd.
I like the Robin from the Teen Titans 2003 animated show much more than this Robin. Fighting style-wise, I like acrobatics and spectacular feats, here he's just a normal human who fights like a street brawler. I'm not saying its bad, I get that they tried to go the Batman route showing a more realistic version of the character. I just don't like the approach. I don't want a realistic Robin, I want the Robin that would leap 5 meters up in the air, punch and kick superpowered enemies and hurt them, or do all sorts of fancy, spectacular acrobatics.
@@dirkauditore8413 I know what you mean, I somewhat like it though, Dick’s fighting style in this show is very similar to Ben Affleck’s Batman warehouse scene. It’s just I don’t think they would have Robin doing a bunch of flips and spinning hook kicks, which would be somewhat unrealistic. There has been a couple of times where they have shown his insane acrobatics..but not much.
@@90s-h7l Im glad that you know what i mean. I understand their approach as I said, and I can somewhat learn to like it, but to me its missing the flashy and fancy flips, spins and jumps that characterize the 2003 cartoon version.
@@Maskedmenace8267 well Breton thaites is old enough to play a Dick Grayson as batman but in a different universe but I don't know about you but I would pay to see this movie or TV series live action or animated movie. how about you?
Which is why I refused to watch the show at first, this isn't the dick Grayson robin I knew, hell, I thought its Jason todd before they finally mentioned his name.
@ArrowSlinger he was trained by a very talented and brutal man this is batman where talking about he hands mens off buildings and breaks arms with out a problem its not the student as its the trainer
He literally killed them, the moment they showed Dick just killing and shooting thugs is the moment I lost all hope for this show. 90% of characters were a miss in this show, Dick/Nightwing is suppose to be a chill dude who cracks jokes every 2 minutes, not a budget Punisher. If this was Jason then it would be fine, Jason would just do this.
Eh, he’s usually a Light hearted budget Batman tho, not a Spiderman character tf… He cracks jokes here and there but he’s an optimistic emo ya know? Essentially, He’s serious 60% of the time but a jokester 40%… Idiots keep pushing him to be more like Spiderman when he’s far from him.
that guy at 0:47 if he survives he is lucky because there are so many arteries in our upper leg and the way Dick pulls the knife down it had to cut some arteries.
Imagine a stand-alone Robin trilogy. I feel like the best Villain and the MAIN villain not just side villain would be Death-stroke. First film could set him up, second can be him and Dick fighting but Dick almost gets killed and is beat to a pulp, I feel like the final film can show Dick sacrificing himself by taking an experimental serum to fight and kill death stroke, being killed after the fight is over.
I want it to be really tragic. Not just your average superhero movie. Let’s give it an R rating, make Robin kill. I want Deathstroke to kill someone close to him. I want the fight scenes to be one continuous shot, realistic explosions and gunfire. For the second film ending, I wanted Robin to be blown up by a bomb from a side villain of that movie, and he ends up going deaf, cuts all around and missing both legs. At the very end I want to show the internal trauma, he’ll also have eye burns from the explosion.
Which will explain the plot in the 3rd film. He needs a serum to help him defeat deathstroke. One that won’t magically heal his eyesight, hearing, or legs, but one that’ll give him the likes of Death-strokes powers. It’ll take place a few weeks after the second film and he’ll be using prosthetic legs. Bare in mind he can still see but not too well. The formula will help for a little bit.
I'll be real, same with Iron Fist, I didn't like Season 1. I like some things but I didn't think it was that special, until I saw Season 2 and man I changed my mind faster then Flash saving the universe. I do admit, The show overall has great fight scenes that are way better then Any CW show.
CW shows are really low so I wouldn't say it was that much of a bar to pass, but I agree that it did feel like some effort was put into making the show and doesn't feel incompetent.
I love this version of Dick Grayson BUT I don't like that he is pretty much the same as Jason and Damien Dick is supposed to be more like Bruce but in this shows universe Bruce has gone over the edge as well so it's whatever I guess
“Robin Shurikens?” Seriously? They’re “throwing stars” but they’re “R”-shaped? How are they not called “Throwing R’s”? Robin needs better branding, especially when he’s next to the guy who probably has a “Bat-Toilet” or a “Bat-Kitchen”
Can you make please a video about all characters from Assassination Classroom (anime). In special Korosensei, Toka Yada, Rio Nakamura, Kaede Kayano and Yukiko Kanzaki please.
Um...are we sure this isn't Jason Todd? Dick isn't anywhere this brutal. Bro legit stabbed dudes in the neck with a field stripped handgun and threw shurikens in people's eyes. Like holy balls.
I genuinely wouldn't be mad at seeing Brenton Thwaites play another Earth's more light-hearted Dick Grayson. He is to Dick what I feel Grant Gustin is to Flash.
