I know Morten Gunnar Larsen's version of this one very well--I can't count how many times I've listened to it. Your rendition is quite different and just as marvelous!
@@Spitzfire in the meantime, check out all the Donald lambert I just uploaded. I'll try to get some other LPS uploaded soon. I definitely want to get one with Cassino Simpson up and another one with Teddy Weatherford, garnet Clark, etc.
Do you have a transcription of what you played here? I very much enjoy listing to your arrangements and would love to learn to play this as you have. I’ve purchased some of your other arrangements and would love to continue to support you.
Thank you so much for your support! I learned this tune from the book "Sincerely, Eubie Blake" which is still available on Amazon. I've added my own spin on things for sure, but that's the place to start!
@@Spitzfire Interesting, the piece does not appear in my version if the book. Are you referring to the Terry Waldo transcriptions? Thank you for the performance, I enjoyed it very much!
@@jackmcrider I was wrong! I learned this piece (and Troublesome Ivories) from "Max Morath's Giants of Ragtime." It's out of print but available on eBay for $10 or so.
