This was, by far, one of the best episodes of the show. Even though Noah, Kaylee, AND Josh were missing, the five that actually were there were handled so well, and it made for a REALLY good episode. I think Alex really shined in this episode. Her character really progressed. I mean, in the beginning, she refuses to tell anyone about the book, and she isn't very open about her feelings. And then, toward the middle, you get the scene where she can't take the drama anymore and starts yelling at the group (which I thought was a really powerful scene), which is like her first time really being honest with them. And then by the end, she sits and eats dinner with them, finally being a part of the group. That character progression was done so well, and it really made me like Alex more. And the Benielle scene was one of the best scenes so far. Danielle was written so well, and you really got to understand her point of view more. She's not just the mean girl anymore; she's a full on character with depth, and I love that about her. The way she talked to Ben, and the way they looked at each other... it was all so good! And that reveal.... WOW! Honestly, this was one of the best episodes of the show! They did the characters and the drama and the music so well! I loved it!
That's what I thought well I hope that Danielle and Ben get even closer then before I loved this episode can't wait for the nexts one hoping that she kisses him I will always ship with them Danielle x Ben she was cute when she was sleeping
I was waiting for this review! :D I also really liked this episode!!! I sort of feel like Sean interrupting Ben and Danielle was some sort of twisted karma for Danielle walking in on Sean and Skye kissing (even though they didn't notice her and all, but then again, Danielle's also got a sort of 'mean' streak to her). I loved all the of Benielle moments. "I felt like I meant something to you." And all that good fluff. And then Ben reassuring her... I REALLY wanted to see what might've been if Sean didn't interrupt them. And Sean's comment about them - xD. I think a reason why I really ship them (besides their great chemistry) is because it's not like "love at first glance" or anything like that. In the first season, I never really thought of them as a couple (minus the part where Ben carried Danielle on his back). The second season opened doors for them, and it's not like they're getting together just like that. I can't wait to see how their relationship progresses. Sean and Skye were so sweet here. Now, seeing as I was Team Ben for the first season (but, you know, I wasn't really THAT into the show, so it was like 'whatever, this happened, let's move on' for me), I didn't expect to feel so uncomfortable doing Ben and Skye's 'bonding moment.' And then Sean came, and I'm like: BENIELLE AND SKEAN FOR THE WIN. (Also, confusing ship names much? *for Sken and Skean, I mean) Also, after Alex started sneaking the lodge, I was suspecting something - some sort of connection with her and Skye. Sisters, cousins, whatever, I'm pretty sure they aren't just old, forgotten friends. I'm sure there's a blood connection in there somewhere. On another note, I completely forgot about Noah and Kaylee for this episode and didn't realize until it was over. It was just that good. Also, congrats on being on YT for almost a year (not quite Sunday yet, xD)!
