Im loving these changes for the War Within. A lot of my issues with the game appear to be getting addressed. This is a very exciting time to be a WoW player.
People dont TRY in Blitz. They just run around and some try to lose so they can get the ez conquest for just participating in the Blitz pvp quest. Idk if they are going to have rating .I assume so. Maybe then they will try to win so they won't tank their own rating like in solo shuffle.
To me, arena have so much impact in the pvp game. To me, Battleground is more MMORPG and should be better rewarding than Arena just for this point. Or maybe put two rewards way each different. One for Arena the other for BG. Honestly, i really enjoy the blitz mod. Can't wait to see the next BG !!
@@georgesaraskeris3447 you must have some skills to win a bg. When you have to support 4 guys without any pvp gear even the green crafted one you have to be skilled a little bit. And in Arena, skill depend on which class you play. If you play rogue, i can be agreed. If you play DH, it's litteraly free until 2k (so the skill it's not really needed).
I agree about arenas being boring. They've been overly catered for for a very long time and have developed a very elitist and exclusive vibe to them. This makes it feel very alienating to new and returning players who want to enjoy pvp and progress in it. The devs change in focus to bgs being the primary focus for pvp progression is an excellent step imo and I as a casual player (yes, dare I say one who works full time and with a mortgage...) who loves pvp is coming back in WW for this feature.
PvP development seems compromised by 3rd party RMT interests. We are dealing with video game lobbying. Them side hustles. There was a bug s1 where people could just buy full max ilv world pvp gear which is only 3 items levels under conq gear, yeah it was just a coincidence sure, then if you afk'd still to this day you lose no mmr. So going up is about queue sniping and folding, Furthermore MMR hasn't been properly been reseting allowing people to keep exploited MMR. Then we were lucky enough to find out they just "happened" to enable macro features that let people kickbot for free. These aren't elitists running the game they're garbage players who have to design backdoors and exploits into the game for them to use. Dragonflight had about as much competitive integrity as a child's minecraft server where he's constantly dropping his friends full enchanted netherite armor and teleporting across the map. It's really not hard to make good PvP content. Step 1 is actually making you know PvP content instead of just another area for PvP to occur. Then step 2 is making it for the players not for a 3rd party RMT business to run a profitable operation in. Then lastly you need to make a variance in game modes so it's just not hey want to play this TEAM MODE OR THAT TEAM MODE HOW ABOUT THIS TEAM MODE. How about I kill my team skin them alive and wear the flesh all at once to make the game think I as an individual am team. Stop it's been 20 years it's okay there can be 1 game mode that's not team based. You'll be alright. I know it might feel bad to not be able to just get carried in something but it'll work it out.
Solo gues are welcome to wow. inside made "hota/glad groups only" just destroy happiness, fun and social in pvp. Arenas have been unbalanced by damage 2 years so i havent been interested from arenas long time. Meta dps classes in arenas are too powerful against other ones. And healers hardly countered damage in dragonflight.
No tier sets in pvp you are going to have to p2w buy wow gold for heroic raid carries for pve their sets for that advantage in pvp for high arena rating forced to pve to pvp. on the other hand once solo queue rated bgs are out arena and rbgs will be dead.
