If you prefer to constantly tab target your mousover cast earthquake to spread a short af lightning rod debuff over rapidly blasting off giant meatballs across the entire screen then that's fine, some people like rubbing nails on chalkboards just for the sound of it.

They should make "Void" a school of magic. Getting kicked on shadow will let you cast Voidform/Void Torrent/Voidblast, but if kicked on "Void" it also locks you out on shadow, same as Mind Spike works.
@@dcalliou7 No it wouldn’t. You kick a spell to lock them out of a school of magic. Like for destru locks you never want to kick them on fire because then they could hard cast fear or chaos bolt for free. But if you kick them on Bolt then it locks them out of “chaos” which is fire and shadow. Similar to how “shadow frost” school works with shadow priest. Which is what OP is talking about turning certain spells into shadow frost or “void”. Essentially giving shadow a “chaos bolt” that you would always want to kick
5:05 lmao i had the same reaction, zero effort went into that spell...i was expecting a mini "Star Bomb"...but nop, all we get is a dark blob on the ground. So far the VFX for voidweaver look very underwhelming. We have all seen how cool they can make these cosmic void spells(star bomb i am looking at you)...there is no excuse for them not to put some effort into voidweaver's vfx.
Most of them look a bit underwhelming, need to ask blizzard to make it better, take to forums and spam ask it, they said and showed they’re willing to listen and iterate
in game development visuals are almost always the last things to polish so don't judging to soon :) tbh all of the new skills looks amazing after the polishing look at the new covenant skill animations.
Dang i already like the looks of void torrent currently :/ i wish they kept OG mindflay without the shadow feature over it unless you're in shadow form that would be cool, like mind flay without the shadow unless you're in shadowform and then void torrent the same unless you're in shadowform then it gets the shadow feature look over the move
they orginally had datamined it as mind blast for shadow, but obviously that would be too strong...lol. So they just tie it in with CD's respectively which makes more sense
@@zak8991 Well having it bound to baseline ability make much more sense, being too strong or not is only play with fine tuning of the numbers not actual gameplay. I have tried both versions and disc feels much more smooth
@@petr9516Yea I agree about it being baseline. Forcing shadow to go torrent for probably the whole expansion if you play that hero would probably get boring. But unfortunately shadow doesn’t have any innate “shadow burst” CD. If they had it tied in with MB for shadow the rift would be tuned to feel way less significant. And probably would change prio where you want to make sure to cast MB on CD or when it procs otherwise you would lose a ton of overall. Having it on a CD is nice because it’s a one in done burst rather than another maintenance dot you’d have to juggle
Only if youre being trained. But honestly every caster apart from fire mage and boomy have a hard time getting damage off while trained. Thats the way its always been. If your highest damaging ability was instant then casters would be gods
No, in this video it's replaced by Mind Spike. If you don't spec into Mind Spike, you have Mind Flay instead. :) You can even see him play with Mind Flay later on in the video.
Its not cosmic damage, it syas that it deals shadowdamage, it just said that ur doing a cosmic voidblast that dsals x amount of shadowdamage changes look rlly cool tho
I just love how they really addressed the absolute sheer number of talents we have resulting in an unnecessarily complicated rotation...oh wait, they didn't address that did they.
People started to leaving in hordes after D4 and OW2 fiasco - so now Blizzard for real started to work on WoW talent trees, 1st time since 2012. Voting with wallet - seens working out.
Still not as fun as s1 dragonflight s priest. They just needed to make a choice node between link and sear, then add the dot extension to plink too, some better talent connections, and crash at 20 seconds. And it would have been great. Instead they did a completely unnecessary spriest rework, that was mostly a failure. Good damage, but that's just balance, the gameplay suffered.
Lets be honest about this. You get loads of passive powers that, in the end, have to also be balanced so they're already useless hero talents? "I get 20% more damage on Vampiric Touch and Shadow Word: Pain" but in reality you don't.
Such a boring expansion…. New talent system is basically just more talents. They could have expanded the web and it literally would’ve been the same. The hero trees are not innovative nor are they really that original. Wow peaked in legion and this looks like literally more of the same shit as usual. So glad I quit putting money into this crap
