I think she died just before the wedding because in fairytale you can kind of tell from Chile’s body language that she was kidding. If it happened during fairytale she would look like she was struggling to remember the events to tell the girls if it was really her or not. What do you think?

@@aussiegirlmargie thank you, this just occurred to me but is it possible Chilli cut her fur tufts because she couldn’t bear how much she hair looked like her mum’s at the time of her loss? While it’s usually associated with breakups, a lot of people change their hair after experiencing something traumatic like the loss of a loved one too, and Chilli looked a lot like her mum in Dragon.

In my theory, I think this happened: Chilli became pregnant with the unborn baby, then her mom died. Chilli became so stressed that she had a miscarriage. Brandy had miscarriages too, and they both tried getting pregnant together. Chilli was able to have Bluey, Brandy was happy for her. Brandy kept trying to get pregnant, but was unable to, while Chilli had Bingo. Because then when Brandy visited Chilli and saw how successful she was, Brandy got jealous that her younger sister was able to grow a family, while she was unable to. They fought, then they fought about their mom, then they stopped talking for four years. That’s my theory, yes it sounds ridiculous, but I am only thirteen, so 😅

No it’s not ridiculous, that sounds pretty plausible actually. It works as a catalyst for their fight. I think it makes sense that brandy cut contact because bingo being born felt like salt in her wounds. Especially with bingo being a red heeler who looks a lot like brandy and by extension their mother.

I think another reason Chili didn’t remember meeting Bandit in Fairytale is that it OBVIOUSLY had a bigger impact on Bandit then Chili. I mean, she DID break his jinx that was on him for a whole damn day and maybe longer, but to her she was just helping someone get their hat. That instance would obviously stick with Bandit more than with Chili, though he probably didn’t know he’d ultimately get married to her, and might have also only realized it was Chili after thinking it over years later when they already got married.

It could even be a possibility that the miscarriage wasn’t caused by the stress of her mom’s death. Maybe there was the hope of having life after death but then she had the miscarriage and it added the how hard it was to lose her mom

I think her mom passed during her 1st pregnancy which caused a miscarriage because (and this may be a bit of a stretch) in "Dragon" Chili is wearing this green cape thingy, and yet Bingo wears the same shade of green shirt in "baby show" when the balloon pops. subtle and random, but I wonder if that colour has more meaning to it.

I have a bit if a theory about dragon, I think that the horse that chilli drew in the story was meant to represent her mum,as it has similar colours. Then, at the end when it flys that is meant to represent when she passed away.

I feel like there could also be a rift between Chillis family due to how similar brandy looks to their mother. We can also see that the flashback in Dragon depicts Chillis mother younger than the picture thats up in the Heeler home. This could just be an oversight as well due to more inconsistencies with fur markings as the photo Brandy and their mother are 1:1 the same pattern wise while in Dragon she doesn't look like brandy at all. I do think her death happened after fairy tale but before the wedding as bandit doesnt talk about chillis mother at all either in memory or in stories of his own.

I always thought that Grandma Cattle had some kind if terminal illness that worked slowly and could take years to claim a life. Yes, it's not a weird thing for parents to encourage their children, but the way she spoke to and stroked Chili, it felt like she knew her time with her children was limited.

As a mom who has had grandparents that passed away before my 5 and 8.5 year olds were born,and ,with my best friend having had a couple of miscarriages, it’s hard to explain grief in general. My best friend is like Frisky for my kids: she’s their godmother/aunt. Thankfully she’s currently about to have her first baby soon and if Chili is anything like myself- she might not have been able to express, or explain to the kids who this person is or why you’re so upset. I often myself am unable to even tell stories about my own family who have passed away especially without crying. So it’s nice to feel seen with Chili’s representation of her grief.

I especially don’t think that Chili has said anything about Grandma because if she did pass away and that’s what caused Chili’s miscarriage- Chili might be afraid to say something to the girls as they probably don’t even know that they were born after the miscarriage. Like about the miscarriage at all. I have said something to my daughter (the 8.5 year old) that Auntie lost the baby when my friend miscarried and she sort of understood but didn’t. It’s a hard concept to talk to a child about.

I really think that grandpa bob might pass away in the sign and perhaps bandit will be looking for signs and then chilli will tell him about the signs she got from her mother in season three and even possibly season one as well and how you just have to look for them and feel your loved ones close I learned that with my three special doggies

7:01 - 7:04 This is a small detail I picked up but did any one notice when the balloon popped in the show. Bluey eyes quickly darted at bingo and she she went silent. I still think Bluey was probably 3- 4 1/2 and a third baby was going to happen and she was old enough to understand it but the miscarriage happened and she understood how sad it made her mother feel. Plus the extra detail in the beginning of the bedroom episode where you can see Bluey hold her mother’s hand to comfort her when taking down the baby room. Bluey is clearly close to her mother. I had a theory about rainbow children being close to the mom like this. While it possible for Chili to have 2 miscarriages in her life one before Bluey and one after bingo. Plus if Chili’s mum did die in 1988 mort definitely didn’t let chili watch land before time.

Here's what I think: 1980- Chili was born, 1987- fairytale flashback- chili meets bandit. In the 90s they started dating then in the mid 2000s(2005) they get enganged and in the late 2000s or early 2010s chilli became pregnant and she had the miscarriage, because her mom died and as result she waited awhile to try again and have more kids because of the greiff then she had bluey 4 years later, then Bingo was born. Then Brandy coun'dnt handle it because she was able to have kids but she had infertility issues and they slipt apart for 4yrs.

I agree with it being that her mother passed away when she was age 9 or 10. Sometimes people who lost their parents at any age will still grieve a loss. Although I'm 24 and my Grandma died in 2019 and i was 19 or 20 I'm still grieving and also still grieving my grandfather's passing too. It's possible but i believe she was 10 when she lost her. Also you can't cause infertility from grief not even a short period or long-term grief could cause a miscarriage.

I one time was watching the episode fairytale and thought that the horse is chili's mom and when she grows wings it could mean like chili's mom grew angel wings and when the horse flew up it meant chili's mom had went to heaven and brandy might have more depression of their mom dying because I think chili was more close to her dad but not as close with her mom and brandy might have been the closest to their mom so maybe its just more harder for brandy but yea that's what I think also love your videos

I love the episode dragon! It just came out on Disney and i just watched! Its sad but such a great episode! Edit: my theory is like you said before bluey and bingo was born a few (weeks?) she got pregnant a few days later her mother died chilli got so depressed she had a miscarriage in the episode of dragon I think her saying “ your not coming “ represents that her mom wasn’t going to be their when she found out about the miscarriage and had bluey and bingo. when her horse (which i think represents her mom) flew away i think its supposed to represent her mom dying. So ya (also i think the horse represents her mom because when she said bye to her horse at the end she looks sad like it brought her memories also because (atleast on Disney + ) this is the episode shes most mentioned in

Side theory: Bandit mistook Brandy for Chili, which is why Chili doesn't remember meeting him in the caravan park. If you look at the design of the snout from when they were kids, you can see that the nose slants lower than usual, much like Brandy. It would explain the confusion both had. Also, Chili's snout doesn't slant from either the front or side, only Brandy and Bingo's. So, I feel like Bandit met Brandy when they were young and misremembered it being Chili the whole time.

I'd seen the theory floating around about Grandma passing during Chilli's pregnancy, and what I'd wondered is if it was actually something very sudden like a heart attack or aneurysm. That was part of why I figured she was so angry with her dad for not resting - "Dad, you KNOW heart stuff is what got Mom!"

it's hard to tell when chili's mom died,so I feel like she died when chili was still alittle girl,and I've always been told loosing your mom is the worst feeling in the world,so I can see it still giving chili grief even years later with a family of her own now,plus I do have a friend that lost her mom 3 days after she graduated college,and she's still depressed about it 10 years later,so yeah I can easily seeing chili still being depressed about it in season 1 and 2,and if the show wants to answer this question in a later season that's fine by me,I'd love to see more of chili's mom,I'd love to know what happened to her,cause it feels like she died by illness,cause of the episode granddad,she was so worried about her dad's health and I really want to know her name

I think it is possible that her mom died when she was pregnant and she got so sad and her baby died. And when Bluey was born she tried so hard to be a good mother because she had such a good mother.

Definitely before Bluey was born because if she died not long after Fairytale then Chili wouldn't have been that effected unless she was missing her a lot and not having her around for advice caused her a lot of grief. But I think it was around the time she was pregnant with hers and Bandit's first baby. And let's not stop at her mom, maybe Brandy got the news that she was infertile and all that stress just caused Chili to lose the baby while she comforted her sister over the fact she can't have kids of her own.

I mean 10-year-old chili could've had thought of this as such a minor instant that she didn't even remember it. We can't remember small moments like that that would last that long. They'd have to have some real emotional impact to make it stick.

Theory: caddle, died possibly in some kind of disaster. Some ones that happened after chilli but before bluey are, many natural disasters Seawise University fire, 9/11 and Costa Concordia

I never realised grief could cause memory loss and that suddenly explains why there's a large blip in my childhood right after my grandmother passed. I nver realised grief could affect people that much and its honestly as sad as it is comforting to think it might've affected one of my favourite characters (and role models). In short, I like that theory, I'm taking it as a headcanon.

I'm still going with my headcanon that the reason she says she doesn't remember meeting Bandit back then is that she was embarrassed for her kids to know she played dress-up as a superhero and would rather tell them it wasn't her. They did sound pretty shocked when she was introduced in the story, and we can assume Bandit described what she was wearing!

Tbh I don't understand how ppl can pick up on little things like the balloon popping like its such a small but amazing detail yet seems like it would get overlooked, until bluey theories started popping op on my fyp. Another thing I can see Brandy being worried with is since Chilli's family replicating her childhood family she can't imagine losing her sister, as Chilli is the mom in the situation.

After the section about Dragon but before the others, my theory became that Chilli's death was when Chilli was about 7 and that the miscarriage and Brandi's lack of children are the result of genetics. Though after the part about the way she drew herself during Dragon, I went back more to the "during adulthood [or teens] but before Bliey was born" theory. (I also thought maybe it was before she got pregnant, since if she was pregnant while her mother was alive, she might have gotten advice from her, depending on whether her mother's health was already declining and how much they both planned to ask/give advice about.)

My best friend’s mother has cancer. She is going to pass in a few days, I don’t know how to help my friend- it’s just so painful, we’re only 14 and now she’s loosing her mother. This video makes me feel like my best friend could relate, I wish this never happened, Bluey is so heart warming, and as an Aussie this makes me relate even more 🥺

3:20 Tying Chillis lack of memory of Bandits story could be because of her mom passing, sure, but Its quite the stretch in my opinion. I think the far more likely answer is that they were 10, its been 30 years, and that trip just didnt mean as much to her as it did to Bandit. Im only in my mid 20s and already dont remember any trips my family took when I was that young. Memory is a fickle thing. We know why that trip stuck out to Bandit in the first place, and we can assume he made the connection to Chilli being there after they re-met as young adults which just made the trip stick in his mind much more. Even with Bandit trying to jog her memory of that specific event, it was likely so small to Chilli that its been completely lost. Afterall who really ever remembers giving back something a stranger dropped?

My (And the saddest theory) Chili and brandy used to be close like B&B but the death of their mother caused one hell of a fight ( perhaps accusations of Brandy not caring or being involved enough in those final days. Maybe her infertility was thrown in) that resulted in a miscarriage. Brandy felt responsible and went into self imposed exile from the guilt.

I think in fairytale when bandit “thinks” he meets chilli and she cant remember. There’s a good reason for that. If you look back in the daddy drop off episode there’s a short clip of Lila and bingo growing up together. If you see bingos fur, it’s ruffled like brandy’s!!! That also leads back to the bingo being Brandy’s biological child. So seeing that bingo looks like brandy anyways and bingo and chillis markings are much different even though Bluey looks just like bandit. That would mean that in fairytale it was brandy, not chilli :) since they went on vacations at the same park. As for chilli having that tuft of hair in the wedding photo, she could have gotten a blowout lol

My ongoing theory is that Chili's Mom passed and Chili ran from home. Or rather she escaped. She was the younger sister and left Brandi to care for their mom when she declined, start of their division, and then when her mom died she fled to England actually. She fled from her grief, and it lead her straight into Bandit. So actually the opposite of the miscarriage theory: because her mom died, she got bluey and bingo. And I think that she came back around the time her dad had a heart attack, and thats when her and brandi reconciled some before she had kids and brandi needed HER chance to get away.

I think the reason why chilly had a miscarriage was because sadness makes you not feel good and then makes you sick and the child may have died from the sickness

That’s not really how this works. Stress hormones spike during a stressful event, and cortisol (one of the stress hormones) notoriously raises blood pressure. High BP during pregnancy increases the risk of miscarriage. Not when the baby dies, but the mother’s body rejects the pregnancy.

Omg this video made me cry but so did dragon and onesies and many Bluey episodes lol but I love Bluey if someone asked me what’s your favorite show or movie I would say BLUEY!!! My mum, had 4 miscarriages! It’s because all the trauma she had abt her dog and grandma dying, if her trauma happened around 10-11 yrs ago when I was born, I would have been dead! Thanks to hope, she had at least one child❤

My mum passed away last month. We had have a hard relationship but in the end we where good, and her death really hit me hard. I have nightmares about her death, because i was there for her last breathe, i felt her body go cold and i seen her pulse flatline. I had health issues from 15 years old and i just went into early perimenopause at 32 6 months ago, the day of my mums funeral I started my period again i think it was the stress.

Oh. My. God. The baby race episode, where Chilli is OBSESSED with making Bluey walk. She compulsively visits the doctor… I think she wants to make sure Bluey is okay beca- HAS CHILLI GOT OCD? After Chilli’ mum died, maybe she’s obsessed with everyone’s health? Also, clock Chilli’s facial expressions in the Bumpy episode.

guess what? bingo is brandys child! brandy made chillie adopt bingo because she just wasnt ready yet. and now that bingos a child brandy just dosnt have the heart to take away bingo from her adopted sister, and now shes all grown up and beleives that chille = mum bandit = dad bluey = sister and brandy = just a very close friend. this makes sence so this may be true. but who knows? maby chille DID have bingo in the first place.

Oh, gosh. It is possible, but sometimes miscarriages just happen. Perhaps we'll learn more about the timeline in the future. A question to ask is, how did Brandy learn she was infertile? Was there a marriage that failed, or perhaps she is still married? Did she have emergency surgery when she was younger?

I just have to say, Chilli and Bandit are S-tier parents. They commit to the bit when playing with their kids. And beyond that, they are firm when they need to be and teach their kids lessons in a non condescending way.

This episode was a little too close to home for me my mom lost her mom to cancer back in 2020 (I think) she got really depressed and my dad lost his job we became very broke and the fight a lot and I mean A LOT and it’s bad too we lost both our cars and it’s just a mess right now we have car but we’re still broke and the still fight I couldn’t help but cry my eyes out at the end of this episode

Why does Chili’s mom look different in the photo on the wall compared to the dragon episode?? She has the white ear, yes, but it looks like it’s on the opposite side and the side of her face has a white patch.
