I still can’t think of this character as Magneto. To me he seems much more like the Magneto clone Joseph. He was the sexy one that had a romance with Rouge.
It really was. People complain that the line is cheesy, but what she was saying was, "I may be an X-Man, but I'm about to kill you." The line is quirky, yes, but shows that the X-Men will actually "go there" if need be.
For some reason, I'm so amused by Brandon. My fav episodes are with him. And of course Hector and Coy are amazing! Love love love this trio right here!
Yes more Coy😍😍❤️ Didn’t think I love the return of this series as much as I do!! The intro still gets me! Who would skip it. Agree Charles is not dead from season 5 last episode. Doubt died offscreen
Exactly. When they state things as facts and be so wrong when a simple Google search would help them. I guess they want to keep that comics expert facade going as long as possible.
With Magneto being too good and Xavier's whereabouts being mysterious and all the telepathic shenanigans, I'm thinking we're getting a surprise villain. Onslaught.
5:10 PARTIAL UNCHECKED CONFIDENCE ALERT: I just researched to fact-check you, and Glass actually IS somewhat a solid. Specifically, it is an amorphous solid, which means that it lacks the ordered structure of most other solids, but it is still too rigid for it to be a liquid. Apparently, it would take a billion years for just some of its atoms to move at all. So it isn't a traditional solid, but that isn't to say that it isn't a solid at all. You confidently said "Glass is not a solid object", but that is a bit misleading, and would maybe be more accurate to say "Glass has traits of both a solid and a liquid". So, yeah, potential unchecked confidence.
1. Brandon’s right about Morph changing into Deadpool 2. You’d definitely know that now IF you watched that Voss breakdown, which is yes as Brandon pointed out, only an hour 😂 3. How can you not have watched the breakdown that Hector keeps hilariously reminding us off 😂 I love it when he sends small shots, he’s not afraid of the system
How is there even a question of the lightning turning the sand to glass? Thats dumb as hell 😂lololol the lightning turned the sand to ice 😂😂😂😂😂😂 yall are wild.
There is a brittle substance that can be formed by lightning when it strikes dirt or sand called Fulgurite. It's not exactly glass per se, but since we're already suspending disbelief it's pretty easy to allow this mineral to be slightly altered to be a little more glass-like. I'm willing to assume that Storm was also manipulating things like pressure, temperature and humidity to help her pull off this power stunt.
It's weird, no one is talking about that other dude in the intro, You know, ForgetMeNot .... He kept saying Remember It.... ... Remember it... wait what?
I have to go on record by saying . My holy trinity in this comic book stuff is E. Voss , Coy J , and Hector navarro and don’t forget we love JESSSSSSSSSSS💛
i believe when professor x went into sabertooths mind (early first season of og show) they showed deadpool, maverick, omega red. they sprinkled in cameos without name dropping alot like u guys said
Feel like no. But it's being played as so and what the show said happened to Professor X actually happened but either a shape-shifter Mutant probably not Mystique turned into Professor X and got killed while somehow not turning into their normal form took Professor X's place or it's a clone with the event happening while Professor X is gone in space. If he's not actually dead feel like not a whole lot of people know and it's only a select few maybe with Magneto being one who knows
right after saying look it up, he brings up about glass being a liquid. i believe that has been disproven, and the reason it is thicker at the bottom is because glass manufacturing wasnt as even as it used to be, and when it was installed, the thicker end was put at the bottom as it would be more stable. dont take my word for it though, look it up yourself
Rewatched the original and it seems like Angel being part of the original team is a retcon. Cyclops, Jean, and Beast act like they never met Angel, and in the Iceman episode they do not show Angel when Jubilee researches the original team.
If they're drawing from recent stories, I thought it was established in recent comics that Franklin wasn't a mutant because Franklin was refused entry to Krakow.
6:27 not dead, but professor x changed their memory making them believe he died and forget he went to space. He probably believed the x-men could move on with cyclops and magneto as their leaders if he was dead
The problem is they can't just bring Charles back to life without destroying all the goodwill generated from his assasination. It's just going to seem like he faked his death and deceived the public on purpose which will only lead to more hatred and distrust for mutants. It also might turn fans against the show if they start bringing dead people back as it will make it seem like there are no stakes or consequences for anybody.
I’ve been saying this, Lando should be a sequel to Solo and then they should end the trilogy with a Chewy movie where we learn more about chewys and the wookies history aswell as bringing the focus back to Han and chewy, and lando supporting
Marvel really needs to take pages from Amazon’s book the fact that I can watch invincible as a show, and relate back to the comics for answers to my questions is amazing. and THEYVE MADE GOOD CHANGES TO ELEVATE THE STORY. THATS WHAT THIS SHOULD BE
It's been a while since I watched the animated series, and this may be comics knowledge, but I feel like at some point Rogue took not only Ms. Marvel's powers, but also Polaris (and a few others) and Polaris's powers kind of cancel out Magneto's and that's why Rogue and Magneto are able to touch.
Seems like they made the decision to kill him for the sake of the story. But at the same time I remember an interview that I think the nostalgia critic did with the showrunners of the original. If I remember correctly they wanted that to basically be a "death" but they couodnt outright depict that on fox kids at the time. And honestly that final episode didn't feel like him going away felt like a death anyway
I'm going to throw a wrench into the discussion. Glass is an amorphous solid, decidedly not crystalline. Even the glass that we call crystal (like crystal chandeliers or wine glasses) aren't crystal. You take a look at the material Storm creates and it is obviously a crystalline. It grows like a crystal, which isn't how glass works at all. Maybe you argue that "well, it's storm she's making glass in such a way that makes it crystalline." Sure...but then it's not actually glass. It would be quartz, not glass. Also, the idea that glass is a liquid and slowly flows to the bottom of window panes is just an urban legend, not actually true.
Professor X has died like 8 times in the comics. It’s his whole shtick. The leader dies. Leaves the team to the next generation. How will they survive the diversity? Plot armor baby 😂
I really hope Marvel never in any what shape or form adapt the X-Men krakauer storyline as they gave Professor Xavier the ability to walk. and still have his powers without his disability he would not have his powers reference (X-Man First Class) As a Disabled wheelchair user myself, I find it very offensive that Marvel and Disney want to pander to the LGBTQA++ community and be more inclusive of Race Sexuality and Gender Religion Equality but when it comes to disability wheelchair users especially. We only have Professor X in Main Stream Marvel, and they can't even let us have one win they have to take even Professor Xavier away and give him the ability to walk its a stupid storyline that I Pray the MCU or X-MEN 97 Never adapt disability and wheelchair users need more representation not less. Professor X needs to stay in the dam wheelchair. If they do end up adapting the krakauer storyline in any way shape or form the best I hope for Is that because it will be an adaptation one of the things that they will hopefully change for the better is leaving Professor Xavier in the wheelchair with his disability intact as tp me him having a disability being in a wheelchair is as much part of his character as his telepathic powers in fact his telepathic Mutant powers are linked to his disability so NO Disability NO Wheelchair NO Mutant powers. They even made that clear in the Original X-Men animated series the Reference (the Savage Lands episodes) where Morph tricks professor Xavier and Magneto into going to the Savage Lands where Professor Xavier can walk but him and Magneto both lose there Mutant powers while they are in the Savage Lands.
Why everyone continues to believe that coy and Hector are comics experts are baffling to me. They are wrong in their knowledge almost 90%of the time, wont research things, state incorrect things as facts and get mad when you correct them on it. It's quite baffling to me that things that could easily be Google in seconds when it comics to comics and issues doesn't cross their mind. A lot of this show is based on the comics that came out in 1997-2000"who would have thought huh"? With callbacks and to earlier comics and foreshadowing later books down to the purple outfit the magneto wears is during issue 200 when he was put on trial.
Hey real quick, can you name ten things I said about comics where nine of them were incorrect? And can you point to any video I’ve ever appeared in where I said I “won’t” research things? Thanks!
