Don’t think I’ve ever seen any jungles on the show and I’m 65 years old and have never seen any jungles in the area they film. Who writes and narates this crap

See, these friggin magazine channels are such a click bait, having people believe that Digger and, Mark had gotten arrested. I mean wtf. Digger and Mark aren’t a bunch of backwoods dumb....s, they are pretty smart and, are on top off there game. I can’t ever see Digger and Mark being locked up. I love there friendship, they and, Tim Smith make that show as well as Josh. Poor Josh, he has the worst luck of anyone person can have. But, he still is a dare devil not quit attitude is amazing.

@@666greyghost666 dude, it's not illegal to brew alcohol. It's illegal to sell it. You can make gallons and gallons of moonshine, transport it, give it away, advertise you make it. You just can't get caught selling it. Tax is the crime, not brewing.

@@BudMasta actually, giving it away is a form of supply and illegal. I runna distillery. I know the laws. Im from New Zealand by the way, its fully legal to make, just can't supply it AT ALL to anyone else legally unless I have an off licence

Just my opinion but we're this true... It wouldn't be spoken about with names especially. Everybody still tries to ride Marvin's coattail. If I had a nickel for everyone who claims to know popcorn or has a jar of the likker he made I'd b beyond rich. Anybody who knew him knows he jack your jaw for speaking on him and his business.

Marvin only blew up cause he made a movie before the show was an idea. Then the show put light on some other fellers just the same way. When Sugarland Shine came out with Mark and Diggers shine I thought they had gone legal but I guess it's just their recipe. These guys love it so much they should hire someone to do all the stuff they don't want to and go legal. I don't want to see anyone go to jail for doing some thing they love when it's not hurting anyone. It's not right.

@@XRT818 They are licensed distillers, so there's no "going legal" - they are legal just like the other "moonshiners" in the show. Great show still, but I could do without that silly pretend part about the legality.

I like the show but, they NEVER make moonshine on the show! Back when the show began you could go online and find where The Discovery Channel said it was a show about how moonshine was made but no laws were being broken during filming. Heck with everything that has been filmed any law officer could arrest any of them whenever they want.

Yeah but if you don't pay your tax stamp for the alcohol and get a liquor license to produce alcohol and pay the taxes on it you can make more liquor legal then you can running moonshine you know you can produce moonshine it's just called White Lightning or pure grain alcohol PGA

So when ever you see the people on moonshiners make alcohol even more so when they make a corn whiskey they do not show us the whole process. It takes more then taking some corn meal, water, sugar and yeast to make a corn whiskey which is what at least 99% of the alcohol that is made on this show. The starches in the corn can not be broken down and turned into liquor by itself. Malted barley or another malted grain needs to be added. And that amount of sugar that is used is not enough to really create any type of alcohol. So since they do not show the whole process the cops can’t be sure what they are making is even alcohol.

@Auxiliary Stream Services how am I wrong on making the mash. Yeast does not break down the chains in corn starches. An enzyme like amylase needs to be used. You could get alcohol out of a sugar wash but not a corn mash it’s added sugar, there isn’t enough sugar in the mash. I guess in my post I should have said something different and not made it out as you have to use malted barley. Though other then malted barley one could use a malted wheat or even amylase alpha or beta or a few other amylase enzymes. Still trying to figure out what you mean by “ most of the ingredients are milled together” cause even if there is more then just corn in it they don’t say that there is.

FYI. “Home brew” is considered beer and 100% legal to make in all states. Distilled spirit is the illegal part in some states.

Distilling is illegal not homebrewing there is a difference. Homebrewers can legally brew in every state in the country, as recently passed homebrewing legislation takes effect in Mississippi, according to the American Homebrewers Association (AHA). Homebrewing was federally legalized in 1978.
