Did Disney F%$k Pixar and Elemental? 

I support animation in theaters like crazy, and I only saw one ad for Elemental (during the preview roll for Across The Spiderverse). I mentioned to co-workers I was going to see Elemental and they thought it was a Marvel movie. They did show interest when I said it was the new Pixar, but still. I saw Elemental because I've missed a few Pixar releases that went straight to streaming, I was expecting Elemental to be a big event in theaters. I would have advertised it probably more as a fish out of water story and shown scenes of the parents in fire land, the struggles of flame girl entering water boy's house (I can't even remember their names, aye), and the struggle of running the store when she wanted more. I know that was only a snippet, but it would've gotten more butts in seats than the lukewarm love story of Savvy Lady Pursued By Doofy Guy in the trailers, something done to DEATH already.
