I’ll take Rogue One and and the Rebels cartoon. The rest is non-canon garbage. As far as the post RotJ material, I’ll stick with the EU that Disney so casually tossed in the garbage and then claimed they had no source material to go off of.

RU-vidrs were trashing Last Jedi as soon as it was out. You did not start a trend.

You were not the first people to dislike or trash TLJ on RU-vid. Many others were doing so immediately because it sucked. We all knew it sucked before the credits rolled. Come on.

You obviously didn't know about Worldclassbullshitters, EVS, SC Reviews and many more that also criticized The Last Jedi. So no, you weren't the first.

I liked the prequels

Did Disney Ruin Star Wars? Kind of. It’s easy to hate the ST but really the issue is how they handled the OT characters. Beyond the lore contradictions, world building issues etc. the real reason why so many people despise these movies is because the original trilogy characters‘s were treated like crap and used at steppingstones for the newer characters. And that’s not good. It’s one thing to say they all failed which is dumb but Disney failed in the passing of the torch. Rather they took the torch, blew it out and reignited the flame and want to call it their own. That to me is the most insulting thing they’ve done with the trilogy.

For me no. Star Wars will never be ruined for me unless there will never be anything good from Star Wars again. People have said that Lucas, Ewoks, and now Disney have ruined it but for me it’s never been ruined. Especially since I liked rogue one, force awakens and we have the Mandalorian, clone wars coming back and fallen order and all the memories I’ve had with the franchise isn’t gonna change. If it’s ruined for others that’s fine cause Disney and Kathleen have fucked up bad trust me I’ve had a similar feeling with transformers and the DCEU I get it but for me it hasn’t.

Answer: Yes. Even if you hate the prequels you at least have to admit they never ruined anything from the original trilogy. In fact they actually added more to the lore. The sequels just took a huge dump on the franchise.

Love prequels and originals. It's so funny that the same people who were trashing George Lucas and the prequels are now saying Disney ruined Star wars. Well if y'all would've stop bitching about the prequels then maybe star wars wouldn't be in Disney's hands. Karma is a Bitch😆😆😆

Honestly I wouldn't say it's dead (considering how Disney likes milking intellectual properties) but in terms of being of quality and being respected, I think those days are over.

ROGUE ONE is the only Disney Star Wars movie that was done with care and thought for the trilogies.

I would say going forward, “Make a Han Solo movie with Harrison Ford in current day or Luke Skywalker current day” but since the story killed them off, it would now have to be a “Else worlds” fiasco. It’s ashame we can’t have any Luke or Han shows relative to the first 6 Star Wars movies
