She said "I know Rashaun, I don't know Dj Envy" and Desus said "You know those Dj Envy checks tho" meaning that she knows how he makes money, how much he makes, and where he spends that money at...which every wife should know. Desus didn't say that she was only there for money(at least in the clip that they let us hear) so Envy's anger was wrong and not accurate. It's feels like Envy is trying to overcompensate for the mistake he made, which is something we all try to do.
He was being disrespectful. It either insinuates her being there for the money and/or to the actual context of the interview, that her claiming she didn't know 'Envy' is a lie. That speaks to him being a DJ, which most persons feel that if you choose to be with an entertainer you somehow shouldn't require monogamy. To the context of the actual interview, that male was trying to 'call her out' that she was lying or living some falsehood that a DJ wouldn't cheat on her claiming she "didn't know him" (Envy vs her husband) That comment had no good intention.
I'm sure Envy's wife would much rather be made fun of by people she doesn't really know than to be cheated on by her husband with whom she's been with for years.
