GeoGuessr is a game, where you get dropped in a random Google Street View Location anywhere in the world and have to figure out where you are. In this series I'm playing competitive duels.

my summary for the update: if we look at the competitive system before any revamp and compare it to now, its a great improvement. with this new promotion idea, all divisions from master onwards should be playing exciting and fair games every week, which is amazing. whats missing is something to compete for in the top ranks, like seasons previously were.

The only bad thing is that there are still master player will like 1000 elo playing in champion division

@@chaojunzhan2103 they will relegate next week and the problem is fixed. also they can only match in a +-100 elo range. i dont see the issue?

also you should need to play at least 10 games to be shown on weekly ladder, people playing 1 game and sitting there might be zzzz

@@lazii1605 i think the whole weekly ladder idea is not great for the top players anyways, and it could be replaced with something more exciting

@@Lennli Hi! I'm a bit confused with the new system. I got a notification in game that I was being fast-tracked to Master II from Gold due to ELO over 900, however when launching a ranked matchn, I realised I was still playing in Gold I division and all the players I matchmake are Master. I've checked the ELO of all the players in my leaderboard and they're all under 900, which means they get to play against other Gold, while I have to face Master only. Do you know if it's a bug or do I have to wait for next week for the promotion to be effective?

Italy they have a famous Strade Bianche (white roads) cycling race in Tuscany which has been running for many years. It's beautiful and difficult. If I see white gravel and pretty hills, I go Tuscany. It's funny the information that we have in our heads!

12:00 I would have gone Texas as well, but I thought that the bollard was Mexican, so I would've gone Mexico. You do get these landscapes that look like Texas but is in Mexico near the border.
