The roller coaster ride that are the Mets this year. They start off 0-5, then go 12-3, then have a just God awful May, then now they are 13-4. Wow!

Mets have a gut of talent, especially at starting pitcher. Assume Senga comes back, they also have Butto, Scott and Lucchesi, not to mention Tidwell and Sproat. If they continue to play as they are, they should upgrade via trade and not sell. There is value in trading Severino and/or Manaea. They need an 8th inning pitcher after Raley went down.

Looks like the Mets appear to be hitting their stride. At this point, they are part of the wildcard scrum, which makes you relevant in MLB 2024. Look at the Arizona Diamondbacks of last season. They finished 84-78 and were the third wildcard. They got hot in the post-season and wound up in the World Series. Clever Mets adoption of the Grimace.
