You right Sceezs..I hate biggie and Tupac had a beef..but I guess when you got 2 of the GREATEST, it’s always a POWER TRIP..Biggie was really great with words, that’s what people liked about him..especially the DUDES,..Tupac was less metaphors, but more of IM TELLING YOU THIS AND I MEAN IT..he was so poetic, that he can paint a picture so clearly thru his music..that’s how he had other countries like Norway, England, Canada and more..his song “Changes” was #1 for 700 weeks in England ..Tupac had whites, blacks, school teachers, used his songs in our literature classes all the time..his cadence, VOICE, charisma, looks, energy, and ambition to be a leader, probably of blacks had even the American movie critics wanting him in movies..when you google top 10 best selling rappers of all time guess who is in that list..he’s hanging with the ones that’s alive and he’s been dead a long time..Tupac made a person FEEL what he was saying, he captured you in his songs, white audience, black audience…and that’s what sell records..metaphors was nice, but it only captured a particular group NOT ALL

The beginning of the song was a reference to the movie Carlitos Way . But it was Al Pacino probably why he said Scarface

I love tupac but I really think when he was alive their was a few rapper's during that time who were better and after his death he was even more looked at in the top 3 or number 1 best rapper. Nas,biggie, jay z,method man and snoop dogg just to name a few that people considered better than tupac at that time. Not saying he wasn't good because he was.i agree that his best talent was being true to what he was rapping about and every song he made always sounded like he was for real and should alot of passion with it. But besides that when it comes to cadence ryme scemes and medaphors alot of rappers at that time were way better at all those then him.my opinion.
