I don't care much about the graphics but a feature that Paladins 2 absolutely needs to have is a replay system and play of the game again. Replay system would be really useful for content creation which is the thing that promotes the game the most.
Yeah being able to re-watch your games would be dope. I mean sure replays might not be perfect, but who cares, they will be good enough. Like most games have their replay modes be a little imperfect, so what.
Well we do have replay (only for ranked though), but if you mean kill cam I agree. When they took away play of the game and kill cam the game started feeling a lot emptier to me.
I think a paladins 2 would actually be great the graphics would obviously be improved and I think hirez are actually smart paladins 2 could do wonders for the company
Hi rez are not smart, they always hop on trends late when theyve lost popularity with a bad gimmick and focus on those crappy games instead of the games everyone cares about like Paladins. But paladins 2 would be great especially if they added a compass and pinging
@@Aaronxxi On paper pinging sounds good but knowing the paladins community and how much many of them flood the vgs for no reason. I can already see people pinging everything and everywhere for no reason. I'm not completely opposed to it but I almost feel like it's not necessary in a game where spotting enemies is so easy and maps are relatively small.
That's really unlikely if they make Paladins in a different engine, look at Smite, they made Smite 2 in unreal 4 and they can't transfer or remake most of the skins.
The Lore is explained, but just like with many other games, you have to find it. The maps are part of the lore. So are the voice lines. Each character has a profile. There are videos online. If you dig for the lore, you can find it and put it together.
I would love to see paladins getting the love it deserves, if they fix some fundamental growing pains of the game and advertise it big time I could see paladins 2 blowing up for at least a year
I absolutely love the idea of a paladins 2. The first thing that comes to mind is the hitboxes. They could be revamped so that they're actually precise. Another thing I'd love to see is some world building, have characters interact with each other and their environment through voice lines, add more story elements, give us more readily available and digestible lore, things like that can really bring a game to life. The last thing I'd love to see is some attention, changes, and potentially reworks of champs that don't get much love. I actually really like how they're reworking Moji into a support, and I feel like they could easily use an opportunity like a potential sequel to make changes to less used or not so good champs.
If neteases crappy little mobile looking version of ow is getting as much attention as it is, paladins 2 for sure would as all the unhappy overwatch fans are latching onto anything as a potential competitor to their game 😂

If paladins 2 actually happens they have to build it from the ground up again. This will fix all the previous issues caused by the game code previously, this might massivly improve quality of life and make the game a better place.
Good catch. I think its quite simple. You wouldnt say LoL 1, WoW 1, Rogue Company 1, etc. unless there was a 2 or some other full game in dev/released/etc. Paladins (something) exists atm. Hopefully we see it next year like Smite 2.
Paladins 2 is scary, they would almost certainly leave paladins 1 to die like how blizzard let OW go years without meaningful content with the promise of OW2 coming. Then there is also the issue where do I really trust the higher ups at hi rez to allocate the appropriate amount of time, money, and resources to paladins 2 to make sure it doesn't fail in the same ways paladins 1 did. I trust the evil mojo developers (generally speaking) but I do not trust hi rez.
What can I say I wish Paladins was salvageable, but it's coded with duck tape and bandaids. As long as the game is not rebuilt from the ground up, they'll never get rid of the bugs and give this game enough polish to catch mainstream attention. Paladins is already dying anyway.
Theres no other option, Pala 1 feels outdated since years ago, they cant improve it and that makes less money, its a vicious circle, sooner or later it will be dead if they dont do 2

Small chances but if there is a possibility I would love, better servers, better graphics, maps, less bugs, ping sistem, kill cams and overall a more controlled q, matchmaking, champ picks and so on so a lot of stuff.
I highly doubt Paladins 2 will ever happen. Overwatch got a sequel because it was a proven success with millions of active players daily. Paladins has been middling for a long time. It's a free game that can barely break 8,000 players on a good day. It's an average product. Smite is Hirez's bread and butter. It's what keeps the company in business and that's why it got a sequel.
I think we should be mindful that Smite 2 needs to be very successful for them to make Paladins 2 a reality. Smite 2 would essentially be funding this to happen. Also im kinda surprised their was no crowdfunding from the players.
1. Real time defence against cheaters. 2. In short time after detect fix ability to abuse bugs or high fps for take advantage. 3. Ability to set different graphics settings besides full max or full low. 4. Add constant game mode "Death match 1x1" (not only ranked) (this also help reveal balance problems). p.s. And please, make Skye cards for run speed work. Currently they not have effects.
Small thing, but it would be cool to have character specific banter interactions before the matches like in OW. We've got all these different factions and relationships in the lore and it would go far in adding more flavor. Vora/Yag, Inara/Terminus, Seris/Furia, pretty much everybody
I really do wish we get a paladins 2 it would be a perfect way to revive the game. The updated graphics and proper marketing would really bring up the player base like back in ye Olden day. I would love to see the paladins hi rez team get some love and get some crossover event passes like smite how they get avatar and tmnt and transformers and etc etc there’s countless really great events.

Paladins 2. If the developers listen to the community and people who rly care alot about the game. With bug fixes and character balance fixes a competative scene and even a few new maps. They are sitting on a gold mine! People have preached this for such a long time. If we get a paladins 2 hopefully they will fix alot of issuse with the previous one and turn it into becoming somthing greater! One can hope
If paladins two does become a thing I'm hoping that they will take balance in a more consistent and fun direction. Key part being not just balance, but also what's actually fun. Cause it seems like fun play styles are usually shot in the knee caps and replaced with something good, but boring. Least in my opinion cause fun is subjective.
I think it gona be great but at the same time i fear if they changed the engine to a higher one of course, that it won't work properly on all devices as it now does, one of the points that made me play the game is that it just works on my low device so am just afraid it don't work well any more.
The biggest problem with this theory is that they haven't been hiring anyone, which is what you'd expect if Evil Mojo was going to be making a new game. If you go to the website there are literally zero job openings for EM. The current team simply isn't big enough to make a game, and they've mentioned a few times that their current concern is making systems and frameworks for Paladins 1 that will be useful later IIRC. I just don't see that being the case if they're planning on making Paladins 2. I think it's being considered, or has been considered, and, if it is going to happen, it will only happen if Smite 2 is successful.

Idk if I'd play paladins 2. I'm on warframe rn. Paladins hasn't challenged anything in its themes for a while. As far as your question. They lost a lot of charm in paladins 1. Trees and turttles became reinspired memes then caped war heros. The last fun mimic character was corvus because you could read the character 2-3 ways. A child being played for the master, the intelligent strategist after his lore story and resolve to control the situation. I played paladins for the teamwork. The tanks are beefy but how long can I play the small pool of viable point tanks? Answer 2.5k hours.
paladins 2 dream: less visual clutter, better server provider and server clients ( i want my shots to be skill based not RNG) , smaller hitboxes, maintain paladins 1's identity when it comes to the different character design and character playstyle customization (loadouts/talents), separate controller and pc pools and fix the the aim assist's reactivity to higher fps on pc (where aim assists reacts better to higher fps rate compared to lower fps rate, turning aim assist into legal soft hacks instead of just aim assist), more frequent patches even if each patch would have a change or two in them, consistently shifting meta's and play styles via adjusting items or micro buffing/nerfing certain characters to have them become the meta for a shorter period of time instead of breaking characters for a year or more, enhance the balancing philosophy you can't have every character as viable as each other (i.e. you can't have lex as viable as evie for example because of how low the skill floor is for lex compared to evie and similarly other characters) and lastly a better and more responsive anti cheat system.
I been thinking about how paladins 2 could be different and i my idea was anime style graphics like genshin inpact and ace force (tencent hero shooter mobile), the reason is that i believe paladins its so unic that it needs to stands out from the "shadow" of beeing an overwatch copy, (we know it isnt) also hirez doest alot of collabs with anime style cartoons like avatar, tnmt, rwby, etc... it would be better for the collabs if the game was already in an anime style, also anime style games still look good even in the old generations (if done right). Alot of the old art in the game (paladins) look like anime 2d, its easies and faster to make this type of art than making the digital painting 3d like style that paladins tries to emulate... this change of style could also brings new players to the game...
I'd like to see killcam, crouching, corner-peeking (or emotes with a shorter penalty, which is essentially the same), improved map collision, more social features in-game, more information in-game, a shooting range where we're able to test more stuff, and an E-Sport scene in Paladins 2, more or less in that order. Perhaps more custom game options and more maps.
In all honesty, I legit think there's going to be Paladins 2 because let's be honest, there's no way the programmers and Hi-rez want to keep working on Paladins. I mean, let's think for a second and be in their shoes. Do you think hi-rez would put all their eggs in only one basket aka Smite 2 ? No, that would be stupid. They need to also have revenue on other games but each of their games don't do really good in terms of revenue only Paladins manage to stand-out compared to other games. So it would be logic to create a sequel to Paladins not only that but Paladins definitely need an upgrade. Which bring me to the programmers. Do you think the programmers enjoy messing up with Paladins Spaghetti code ? I don't think so personally, also pretty sure Paladins janky code is the reason we don't really have "new" stuff within the game. Programmers probably don't wanna take the risk to break something within their code at every new additions to the game. Now, what would I want of a potential Paladins 2, a lot actually : - A soundtrack closer to the Alpha soundtrack of Paladins Alpha. - A complete tutorial that cover everything the game has to offer. - A complete shooting range that allow to test everything. - Characters visuals updates (make them look fresh). - Make sure Talents and cards are at least equally valuable (Avoid 1 trick pony). - Propose better Talents in general ( More new features considering skills instead of straight damage buff ). - MAKE ONSLAUGHT/PAYLOAD/KOTH THEIR OWN GAMEMODES instead of being a worse Siege mode. - Change the impact of Frontlines and Supports in the game ( Don't make them so stressfull while barely being impactful in a game due to bad teammates.

I mean think about it, they were able to see and analyze how OW2‘s launch did and even have their own sequel smite 2 of their game launching where they can learn a lot from it. Literally just develop another sequel but also do better what those others especially talking about OW2 did bad or lacked off
Paladins was offcial dead on the day when they leaved esports scene. It was amazing watch every nigiht paladins esports and so funny for me and friends. I was 3 account master and one gm. Still have that accounts. I was best drogoz player on leaderboard. Also i think i made best win ever paladins" top play 21 " I'm quited paladins long time ago and I miss that time. Paladins 2 should happend but in better way!
He's really talking as if Paladins 2 is confirmed. I'm praying that we see an announcement next year or so. Paladins needs it much more than Smite. If Paladins were as polished as Smite, it would be so much bigger. And the timing is actually great. Overwatch is copying Paladins more and more while being a much lesser game. If they remake Paladins as it is, but bug-free and with new features like a ping system, it could be a huge success.
I would like to see... Tons of new characters, maps, items in shop and game modes. Alot of unlockables cosmetics. Slower capture points and longer push phrases on Seige. Return of Payload mode, TDM and Onslaught permanently. Free unlockables. Play of the game and toggling 3rd person view. A new game mode where players progressively level up and earn tokens/gold to unlock/equip cards to their character during the match. A boss raid to challenge Makao. Crossplay and cross saves. Free unlockables. Maybe 6V6, (I dont know about that one). A new Class would be cool. A new engine that actually works. Art splashes returns. A hands throwing feet kicking close quarter lizard. A team vote to forfeit option that cost gold to vote he~he. Free unlockables. New training grounds, with friends invitation-only enable. Smarter bots. Animation promotions and a gallery mode to view trailers/promotions/Story passages. Did I mention free simple unlockables like titles/sprays/avatars. A beginner free BP with level 1~100 filled with gold, boosters, chest, small crystals, customizations, with a free mount at level 100. New endorsement system. Finally, a new vgs similar to smite. One last thing, an avatar for every country. 🙃🙂🙃🙂🌅
they can put most of things from paladins to paladins 2 but make it actually work with less bugs and stuff. if paladins 2 is coming out but is has no pip, im not going to play it
So we need all those things I agree. But what we also need is to get rid of bots If someone leaves a match, we should get another player instead, just like overwatch. Or any other game. Playing With bots is no fun

Hm, I feel it's more optimistic then likely, but hey doesn't change that I really really hope it's legit. And I mean I don't rightly care about great graphics or the game being mega flashy or whatever. Just polish it, remove the overload of bugs and disconnects, etc. Add some quality of life (replays, POTG etc.) and I'd be more then happy. (I mean I did quit the game a year and a half ago, and I'm not gonna pretend it was just Hi-Rez fault, I did get overwhelmed, there was a long period where I'd always grind out every battle pass, log in daily just to do my quests and so on, and I'll admit I think for a while I wasn't doing it for fun I was just grinding for the sake of it, so I burned myself out. And while that's to a big extent my fault, the state of the game didn't really do much to hold me in...)

Paladins is far from being a perfect game but is the game i put more hours in , its much better in 2024 compared when i start playing some years ago. if a Paladins 2 is released i hope with UE 5
keeper, where are we dropping. also did you hear that phone ringing because I called it. the first thing I want them to do is remove the pick and ban system for rank for a row pick system. the pick/ban system killed rank for many players due to if the champions they want to play get banned a lot. people will say pick/ban system is good because it forces players to not just play 1 champions. that failed. if people want to play 1 champions, guess what. they are not going to play a system has a higher chance that force them to not do that. I am good at Yagorath. I mainly play frontline. when I am not playing around, I am a beasts on Yagorath. when Yagorath first came out, people hated playing with or against Yagorath. even today, people still hate Yagorath. if Yagorath gets banned, do you think I would want to play rank? no. I am going to go to where I can play Yagorath. what is a row pick system? a row pick system is each row on your team get to pick at the same time. you can do this 2 ways, top down or random. I personally like random because as we seen now, the highest rank players will show up at the top then pick whatever they want and they force everyone below them to fill in. if it is random then the highest rank player would have to work around what everyone else picks. it would go 15 to 30 seconds for planning then 30 to 45 seconds per player to pick then 15 to 30 seconds to switch if needed. 3 to 5 minutes to a match. second thing I want is a deathmatch mode. not team death match but a single mode of 10 players vs each other. take all of the small maps and put them all in a pool and let them go at it. just make sure you respawn in an area away from the other players. so many times I would get respawn right where I just died in the middle of the fight then just gen chain killed over and over and over. third thing I want is to fix the bots and training room.
A PvE mode, just to stick it to Overwatch 2. That, plus better graphics (just shift over to the newest Unreal Engine or whatever) and absolutely zero game-breaking bugs. Lastly, allow Easy AntiCheat to work with Linux, like come the fuck on, why are Linux users still getting shafted in the year 2024?
I been playing a lot of Gigantic, it doesnt feel exactly like the hero shooters, it feels better imo lol, its so fun, but yea I wish they make Pala 2, the game feels so outdated

I dont care about graphics just recode everything, that potato codes killed this game and the server but we are getting ahead of ourselves lol, if Paladins 2 will even ever happen, even if it happens it might be too late, playerbase getting smaller and smalller.
Also great, but BR games lost a lot of interest, only the top ones are still huge like Warzone, Pubg and Fortnite, RR couldn't compete, but Paladins still has a great chance because the biggest rival is OW2 which is still a smaller game nowadays (less than 30k avg players)
If they try and pull that rerelease the game with minor quality of life/visual improvements then say some crap like its to much work to honor the money you spent towards skins/emotes/champs etc and you should be comfortable with not owning things then I wish them the the best but I will not be there
