Yet somehow Russia invaded Ukraine over territory 1 and 2, claimed to also want territories 3 and 4 after the war started and isn’t even holding a majority of these territories. Russia is lying to you and you listen to their words.

As an independent nation they signed a treaty to be part of unified front against Russia as long as Russia invades Ukraine. They got special liberty to keep getting oil from Russia because of it. Perhaps that liberty should be taken away because Hungary keeps violating that treaty every opportunity they get. Also they are in no position to puruse anything Ukraine related as independent nation, they need permission from Ukraine to do that which they don't have.
