I promised a follow up video with the JCB Tele-skid and have been asked a ton, especially on Instagram, did I buy the JCB Tele-skid. Truth is, watch the video. May not be the end all review, but it's most likely the best I can do. Not sure what the future holds or if I'll keep it. My kubota is paid for.....

Like anything else, it's an investment in the business. If it allows you to complete some number of additional jobs per year by being more efficient and the profit per job is worthwhile, then it makes a lot of sense, depending on how long the payout takes. I would imagine renting equipment gets very expensive very quickly.

It’s actually a very well written and comprehensive book ru-vid.comUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 . I wanted to pair this with an updated book on local codes to start planning a post-retirement dream shop. I think I have just about everything I need between the two. The extra plans available for purchase towards the end are priced almost as much as full home plans, not little sheds however.

We demoed a 3ts-8t, it lifted 4300 lbs. Of 5x10 plate steel. I was impressed. I was also impressed with how powerful that 74 hp motor had. Felt more powerful then a t320

Important phrase,,, "Kubota is paid for". 🤔🤔 JCB does have some great innovations but as you said it's subjective. What suits me certainly might not suit the next guy. GOOD VIDEO!! THANKS

Having a landscaping company and putting lots of hours on skid steers ..and testing them all except the JCB, but far the kubota is the most unrefined machine out there. i would rank them as followed 1.) Cat 2.)bobcat 3a) john deere 3b) takeuchi 4.) kubota/case/ new holland i’d like to try the jcb teleskid because that added feature would be nice , problem i would see is they don’t have a 90 hp machine . i seriously looked into the kubota because of the price point but interior features just left me wanting more . loud on the inside and jumpy. Reminded me of an old mustang skid steer

Volvo also builds skid steers with one loader arm and a side door. They do not, however have a telescopic boom.

I had a Kubota that would barely let me use more than one function at a time and I hated it because it was so SLOW . It was an older mode. Already paid for , those 3 words mean a lot especially when you like what you already have. Mid to high 90's is a lot of money for a skidsteer in my opinion, used was usually good enough for me.

I would be worried about the single arm boom after thousands of hours of dirt work etc. that would be hard on any bearings and joints no matter how much they supposedly reinforced it. Hitting a few rocks, hard stuff on that left side of a bucket or attachment may create some serious problems in the future, I'm almost 100% sure those problems would crop up just outside of warranty as well, since that's how stuff goes... Crossing my fingers and am thankful for the companies that go out there and risk it so if I see them on sale used just outside warranty, that will be a good tell....

Joeziah Babb it’s a lot stronger than you think ..... you keep them joints greased it will last well , it’s a good machine in wet or hard dry clay and in 10 years the only problems I’ve had are ram seals weeping

I've owned JCB equipment,had good reliability,sometimes starving oil flow in a multi function application on the older stuff.Overall,i liked it.

The side door and boom arm are some very good innovations. In the past I have operated many machines and a fair amount of time on a JCB backhoe. I hope this machine holds up better then the backhoes do, they are crap when it comes to heavy machinery.

Our 97-2 kubota has been in shop for two months not a fan as they still can’t fix it or know what’s wrong with it 😤. As the mechanic I could see most filters looks very easily accessible 👍. I am going to forward this clip to my boss. We are a landscaping company. I think this machine is perfect

Kyle, liked the vid...wish woulda gone more in depth w/ a few things. Like: what attachments can you use w/ this, & go over the controls a little....along w/ safety features. Otherwise, thanks for the vid. Also....had a “thing” on lens of camera I think....thought was a dead pixel on my screen or smudge; & I kept trying to get rid/fix for 1-2 minutes till realized was your gear🤣🤣 Also, look forward to your vids👍🏻, you have me hooked!😆 Cheers✌🏼

The comment you made about slow movement when attempting to perform multiple boom operations simultaneously might be related to the hydraulic pump in the machine. Booming the loader arm out/in, up/down, tilting the bucket up/down, and moving the machine forward/reverse all place demands for hydraulic fluid power on those functions, which requires a pump that is capable of delivering a specific flow rate. When you start trying to perform multiple operations simultaneously, the pump's ability to push fluid to each of the drive motors, the rams, etc. is compromised. Engine HP, space constraints for locating the pump, and other factors all play into sizing a pump as well. It's nice to have the ability to boom in and out, but if the operation of the boom slows every other function down, the efficiency loss (and decreased productivity) might not be worth the benefit of a telescoping loader arm.

Maybe they need to rethink the Hydraulic system a bit. Maybe a higher capacity pump or a second loop. The reason you slow way down on doing "multiple things at once" is that your maxing out the hydraulic system. At least that's my thoughts...I've seen it on other hydraulic systems so...

@@silverbackag9790 : No they are not; Volvo’s are their own brand with their own standards. Volvo’s do not have telescoping booms or a few other options/standards that JCB’s do.

@@silverbackag9790: I’ve operated both machines and they are quite different on both the inside and out, beyond just the telescoping boom option. The instrument panels are different, in my experience, just because they both offer side entrance doesn’t make them the same, in that case is every over the bucket entry machines the same maker.

No comparison between the kubota and teleskid… more power more speed more versatility… only draw back of the teleskid is the hiflow at 33gpm vs the kubota 38 The 95v2 claims 40gpm it hits 38 at 100%

I have one move 1500 pound bales no problem all machine's have goods and bads you will love it when you buy it and all the controls are customized to you just my thoughts I wouldn't buy anything alse can't believe you like Kubota my option as a rancher they are junk have owned them and rub them not impressed
