That's one of the reasons I moved very far away from the race realist movement. Shaun explained in his video what the endpoint and logical progression of these beliefs were. I want to believe a lot of people that are part time racist were like me, and when exposed to where their beliefs lead they will turn away. But it's really hard, convincing people of something that will never be self evident to them is so difficult

I find that to be the greatest argument against eugenics, the evidence is not sufficient for any solution proposed. Like even if there is a minor intelligence gap if intelligence is a thing, the solutions are so insanely horrible for a slight hint that is so disputed. society should reexamine why this was even a conclusion we thought was plausible.

His argument is weak. He says that if we eliminated other races it would raise the general IQ. It’s a ridiculous statement but let’s say we grant him that, it would change nothing. There is no capitalism if everyone is a millionaire. Capitalism is built on relative differences, so you can differentiate a rich man from a not so rich man. As far IQ levels are concerned, it’s just a scale, there is no difference between 100-110 or 120-130, it’s still 10. The argument never goes away.

He could have just as easily said as a eugenicist, "Everybody get DNA tests, so we can feed it into Big Blue, open the floodgates for human genetic engineering, tackle intergenerational trauma and other factors affecting development, and finally take control of human development." Are we making reasonable comparisons or are we comparing societies built on conquering to societies that weren't? Were societies that didn't invent it just inherently dumber than the others? We shouldn't judge a race because they didn't have the need/advantages to create what someone else did.

In the book "The genius in all of us" the author looks at rat studies, where on group of rats have been bred to be much dumber and slower to learn than another group. Even in that example, they found that they could make the difference in learning outcomes almost disappear if both groups where provided a stimulating environment growing up. Like you can't really divorce the effects of genes from environment or vice versa. A genetic difference could give huge difference in outcomes in one environment , and disappear completely in another environment. A certain difference in environment can cause a huge difference with a certain genotype, and not affect another genotype at all.

i don't buy his claim of separated twins acting identical in different environments whatsoever. Two people of the same race growing up in different economic classes will live differently unless cultural influences bring them toward a particular sociological traditions that is adopted as their common identity.

Just because you don't consider life worth living doesn't mean your life isn't valuable regardless. Like maybe you hate yourself and want to die all the time but just because you think you're worthless doesn't mean it's true. I'm sick of being surrounded by people who dig their heels into hating themselves and the world and being completely unable to fathom that this is their own fucking psyche doing it to them. It's literally a mental illness. I don't give a fuck if you think your life isn't worth living because you're fucking wrong.

@@komos3719 There are people who want to die because their existence is constant pain and dependence. Go tell THEM that life is always worth living. Because you're wrong. YOUR life feels worth living. Not everyone feels the same about theirs. And they aren't wrong just because you feel every life is valuable.
