I work in a watch and clock repair shop where we have hundreds of clock running and chiming. Noon is an absolute event. After so many years around them I no longer really hear them unless one of them is doing something it shouldn't.

The Mexican pieces are beautiful. We dont see them very often in the UK. However, i did see (and pick up) some birds from Chile that i recognised because of your video. i told the lady in the charity shop and she decided to buy the one that i left behind!

Paperweights are under estimated I love finding them the simple round style is less cluttered to display I look for short wooden round pillar candle stands to display them...very pretty on my fireplace mantle

Ummmm, this may be a silly question; BUT, about the large blue & white "wall pocket" at about 5:50: "Drainage hole?!" How would that work out hanging on a wall? Take it down, water it, prop it in something to keep it upright to drain properly, then RE-hang, PLUS hope no more residual delayed draining happens & dribbles down your wall?! IDK! 🤔That's the only thing I could think of, but it seems like an awful lot of trouble, even for a beautiful plant! That's just me, tho, & I love plants! So I was just wondering how that would work! 😂🥰

04:56 Dangit, you were supposed to pick him up so I could bid on him! 06:56 He's a wunnerful parrot, which is a very uncommon type to see, but I JUST can't forgive that big-a$$ed chip on his foot! (He MIGHT be a vase. I could see making a great bunch of tailfeathers for him from fronds.) 08:34 I LOVE LOVE the ogee mantel clock! (I think it's a Welch, might be a Waterbury, could be a Sperry & Shaw.) However, that dial has GOT to go; it's far too battered to forgive. 08:50 That's where you lose me for at LEAST an hour maybe two, as I paw thru the bins. (This is the danger of owning a complete and working '70s component stereo; you can't say to yourself "but I don't have anything to play them on!") 17:20 I think it absolutely is a wine chiller. Nice one, too.

Marigold iridescence has gotten unflattering reviews only because of the 1960s and 70s poor quality pieces produced. The antique carnival pieces you selected have the richness and iridescence it was meant to have originally. Carnival glass has the potential for a come back if someone promotes it and does a little educating. A cabinet full of carnival glass is a show stopper. Thanks for promoting antiques too!
