Victor Lockheed no problem at all. I love my x1 carbons. About to get an extreme. Don’t always assume a comment is negative. I’m a big thinkpad fan. When I got graduated from high school all I wanted was a thinkpad for college. Worked hard that summer and got a t40 circa 2003. I love thinkpads bruh.

Exactly. He's a genius. At the beginning I actually wonder how he gets a lot more subscribers than the other channels that look "more pro" In some other videos he looks like know nothing about the specs of the product he review. But that's where the genius part comes from. He reflects us as the consumers by his first impressions, reactions and his respons to the product he unbox. He knows exactly how to turn something "ordinary" to "super exciting"

I purchased a thinkpad for my dad with a lot of hesitation, and the laptop was amazing (4 years and still running like new). Also the build quality is tremendous, he has dropped the laptop countless times and it is still running perfectly. I totally recommend this series.

90% of the people, businesses, gamers and companies are using Windows. Why are you talking as if everybody has a Macbook or other MacOS device ? The MacBook sales are going down each month and you still hear these "RU-vidrs" talking about Windows as a second-class OS. When in fact its the only OS that lets you do real stuff, be productive, play any game on earth, code and run VMs, servers, etc.... and Windows 10 is really good lately.

As a huge pewdiepie fan (the current most subscribed channel as of 12/13/18) i dont like this because this means that a corporation will be the most subscribed channel instead of an original, standalone, content creator. The fingerprint scanner placement beside the trackpad is ideal imo. I picked up a 7th gen for myself recently after using both an 8th gen and a 9th gen at work. I don't like the power button fingerprint reader on the new ones, because I do love to use the Carbon on the go, since it's so light and easy to carry in one hand. I've found that the one near the trackpad is ideal because it's naturally where I would rest my thumb when I grab it with my right hand, where the power button one requires two hands and it feels more awkward, plus the reader is smaller (pill shaped instead of box shaped). I also love the power button on the side, again, because it's so easy to assign that to hibernate the laptop and press when I'm done with it at the end of the day, and opening the lid after hibernation automatically turns it back on. Not huge dealbreakers for the new ones, but I personally love the feel of the 7th gen, the ability to open it with one hand without lifting the whole computer (8th gen seems to have taken a step back in this regard, but they fixed that again with the 9th gen, which is also easy to open one-handed), plus the ergonomic placement of the fingerprint reader and power button, in addition to the touchscreen and face unlock truly make this an exceptional package, and when I do have enough spare cash, I'll probably swap the 256 GB SSD out for a 4 TB one

I’m afraid to go to the next MacBook Pro. I still have my 15 inch 2015 MacBook Pro but with all the issues I think the Lenovo has one good. Working in computer support I may go with the X1 carbon or the T480s. Love the keys and finally after a few years the trackpad has been good. Would be nice to see options for business users compared to Apple laptops now w the new Air compared to the T480s. Appreciate the channel

Absolutely in love with my X1, strictly(and perfect for) using in Uni/personal software developing. It is unbelievably fast, lightweight and sturdy, the screen doesn't shake as you type like I see so many other bigger laptops do in lecture halls. The battery saving capabilities lets you work all day on a single charge, quick charge comes in clutch if you even need to use it. The HDR WQHD is great for your Netflix binging. Oh and if some bozo spills water on it by accident, guess what? The guy just gave you cash to try and make up for it and you're laptop wasn't even harmed. For what I need a laptop for, I would buy this one again over any other laptop on the the market today. (Disclaimer: I don't use for gaming, I have a desktop for that sweet sweet 144+FPS ultra gaming.)

It's a disaster of a laptop. I just use it because my software company bought it due to reputation from Lenovo of Linux support. But even the Linux support is a disaster. And low quality components all over the place.
