One thing great about this is that your books remain out there, so after a while your old books become a source of passive income as people discover and fall in love with new books and just maybe go back and read your older books. I would love to see more of these business-kind of videos as they are very helpful for those of us who haven't quite gotten to publishing yet to be able to prepare. Would you ever consider doing videos that breakdown your experience with ads? Being that I don't plan on using social media, I won't "followers" in that way, so I want to try to get most of my readers from ads and then the series of books themselves (via a newsletter). I'd love to know which ads you think are worth the effort based on your experience. Thank you! New to the channel and really love the content so far!

I love that you're sharing your numbers! I've been doing this with my debut novel. Question: Are you including marketing costs in your numbers? I would love to know more about what you do for marketing. I've watched another video where you talked about what marketing you did for one book, but do you continue doing marketing after a book is released? Thanks so much for the video!

How you know you’re a success as a RU-vidr: when someone (me) doesn’t really care what kind of money you made (the books are more important to me; nothing against you or the money) yet still watches the video about it because they can’t not watch.
