God i love you Teddy, this song to me is me an my daughter.....it hurts so much, it hurts so damn much everyday....ive barely sang the last 4 years- first 3 went through hell with her and heroin, she overdosed 7 times.....shes a year sober right now...we were inseparable for 20 years. She knew my work schedule better than i did an would show up bout everyday, shes my so sweet, smart and fun- twin. Shes cut me off for such stretches of time that collectively we've lost more than a year and a half. The last year and a half i was with my dad as much as possible as he died from kidney failure. The love of my life- my entire heart and every single thing that was good in this world. My daughter never visited him, she never even called him. Ive been and still am completely heartbroken and alone. Tomorrow its 1 month since i lost my daddy. I made myself face the cemetary i have to drive by everyday, a couple days ago. Dad's in a crypt in his headstone thats placed beside my little brother we lost in a motorcycle accident in 2005 when he was 29. Its unbearable to be here without them. Feels like i mustve done something terrible, but i cant remember ever doing those kinds of things....my older brother and adoptive mother that im left with are slandering demons that turned everyone against me. An ive lost 4 years with my little girl, she'll be 24 on January 14th....i probably wont be invited to any party....i cant understand how or why things are this way, or why an how are people so selfish and careless with my life......
Love this song your life comes through your voice when you sing this song. You have to have experienced that emotion in life to have it in your voice to be this emotional.
