very good solution to a tricky problem. Mine is a wet swift 122 carrera bathroom at the back of the bracket. Nevertheless well done !!

Thank you, not seen any videos of how to fit the bracket onto a 550 so thought I would share it so anyone can do it themselves instead of paying the dealership a fortune to fit it and probably be a bodge job (speaking from my experience) thanks for watching 👍

Nice job, I installed a similar installation in our van. Except I added a power source inside the wardrobe and routed the tv power cable from there through a cable tidy hole. No cables visible, we use a FireStick as our main means of TV entertainment.

I really can't reroute and hide the cable because it's open on both sides of the wall, I was thinking of quadrant trunking but decided to use short aerial lead coil power lead to correct length and attach to back of TV with self adhesive cable tie, I take TV off bracket so it easier to unplug from wall socket than behind TV whilst on the bracket to lay on the bed for travelling, thanks for watching 👍

A good bit of ingenuity there Andrew and an appropriate picture for the washroom 👍. Just a bit of trunking along the corner to tidy the cables and a good job done. I would run the trunking up to the ceiling and have the cables coming through a hole made in the side of it. Might look better than the trunking stopping part way up the wall. All the best, Rob

Hi Rob decided to shorten all cables as it easier to unplug from the wall socket than try to unplug behind TV to remove from the bracket for travelling, thanks for the feedback and watching 👍

Nice job, Quadrant trunking from tidy wires. What about a swinging arm type TV bracket for the lounge that way the fixings would be in the cupboard on toilet side 👍

Hi Andy,I have same van, same TV, and same tv brk. I placed two coat hangers(as fitted elsewhere in van) as the spreader behind my brk. Have done several mods in my van!!

No I've done my homework, we did ask when we bought caravan they said Elddis stopped putting brackets on a few years before as people put large screen TV"s on and either split or broke the wall then expected it to be replaced under warranty so no there is no support - thanks for watching 👍

The dealer will fit one at a vastly inflated price, which would probably be a bodge job if anything like my past experience with dealers, we weren't sure if we needed one but now Grandkids getting older we thought it was time to have our own space when we take them away

This was done by dealer in 2018 to same caravan same mounts. I watched them took all of 10 minutes for the two of them. Don’t need reinforcements to wall. Just take telly off when travelling.

Yep and have to pay £250 for the privilege of having it fitted, don't think so, prefer to do it myself and also the hollow wall board would not hold the screws and I didn't want to use adhesive, also it gives some viewers an idea of how to Do it themselves 👍
