that's why people who criticize the kpop industry and system they don't see the alternatives with the school system both are rough 1 gets you a job doing something someone else wants you to do the other gets you a job doing what you want to do. people say oh the idols that unalived themselves did it because of kpop when reality is they may have done it regardless cause of the school system too. also bullying is horrendous in Korea so like it just shows people who hate on kpop and the industry don't know much about Korea at all. about its society or history or culture.

B Free the dude in that interview has had the wrath of army over him since then. Honestly, army is still up his ass about it. He can't have a social media account without getting hate from army. This guy is known to be very disrespectful towards people, he's been in jail, he's right now also under police investigation. He never truthfully apologized and that's just the wrong thing to do. Does he deserve all the hate from army? idk, probably as he's not bettered his ways. It's been over 10 years though. Army can be very scary and ruthless. But yeah BTS has been through so much, we become protective.

They have disbanded, but she went on to be one of the most popular actresses in Korea. Seriously, she is amazing.

Nice reaction to this episode. A small note on your comments about BTS being bigger than an IDOL group, bigger than anything else - that's true, from the current perspective. Please keep in mind that the scenes are from 2013 - BTS was only a few months old and was facing headwinds from all sides and had to prove to everyone that an IDOL group can write its own music and cannot be categorized. It's a constant up and down over the next few years - but ARMY never stopped supporting them and endured the critics along with the band, protecting each other.

Oh they are artists alright they are not 'Idol's even if they compete with 'idol's and they take on some the 'Idol' system eg had training, they are more than just 'Idol's. Also we don't worship them we support them. Idol is something you bow and worship as a if it were God.

Some further explanation on that disrespect encounter. Both RM and Suga came from underground rap and I'm sure they were excited to be included in what was supposed to be a Hip Hop "roundtable". What it actually turned into was the other rappers just shitting on RM and Suga...telling them they sold out by becoming mainstream, were girls for wearing stage makeup, etc. . They were totally blindsided. Suga was trying to explain that they were hoping to improve the outcome for underground rappers by bringing attention to them in the mainstream. It was disgusting. Even now, Suga in his lyrics (specifically Snooze comes to mind) and his show (Suchwita) is always trying to help other artists. Those underground rappers never did have much success...one of them (named B Free) ended up in prison. RM and Suga kept their cool (and went home and wrote some banger dis tracks).
