It’s lovely to see you reading the whole letters.💙 Sometimes just read the badly written word as you read it and then people will learn to write clearly. Also if the letter is way too long, read the start and then the last few lines maybe to get the point and just ‘read it later’ but don’t throw it in the bin straight away x

I’m 20 and I remember the clangers!!! I watched old tapes of it when I was a kid When we used the oscilloscope in GCSE (O-level) Physics, I commented how it reminded me of how the clangers talked and literally only the teacher knew what I was on about, which meant every time it was used in class I would laugh, remembering the clangers and everyone else just thought I was weird/crazy/both

Hello James. I'm 17 and I would like the Clangers series 1 VHS tape. The reason for this is my mum showed me the clangers one time as she remembers watching it on TV herself when she was little. I think this would be a cool neat little thing to show her. I'm also a retro fanatic as I love lots of retro stuff. I think VHS tapes are a staple of the past. This VHS tape would mean a lot to me, especially when the man himself JAMES MAY talked about this exact tape. I love watching these videos as it is always interesting to see what stuff people send you.

Fab video as always. If possible I would love have the painting. We have an odd family tradition of designating the downstairs loo the 'toilet of shame' where all awkwardly posed formal pictures go to traumatise you as you take a comfort break. That picture would improve the ambience immeasurably.

I would really quite enjoy the classic train magazines as I use to share this passion with my dad. We were working on a Candian Pacific train set, and never got around to finish it. Hopefully I might be able to reignite his passion with those.

I would very much like the Hornby Dublo catalogues of toys that you haven’t been able to buy since 1965 or 1972, as I have a friend who is a huge model train enthusiast. He has a birthday coming up and I can’t think of what to give him, but I think he’ll appreciate those particular slices of Hornby history.
