I'm a muslim woman wearing hijab, I just feel safe when wearing a hijab. When I go out I don't spent hours taking care of my hair, I just put in my hijab and ready to go. Even when I haven't washed my hair, I just don't care cuz I got my hijab on when I go out so who's gonna sniffing my hijab right? 😂 It gave me safety feelings, relief and then I can basically just be myself and I don't afraid what people's think of me. Because people not going to judge me based on my hair or my "body" right? They haven't seen it, why would they care. That's why I love wearing modesty, no one's forced me to. Also mind you, I live the Indonesia, where stuff get so hot sometimes and the city where I live so humid and hot. But wearing hijab protected me from the hotness and polution as well. When I'm sweaty I can just rush back home, just find fresh drink, or take a shower right? There's technology called fan and Air Conditioning everywhere. It's not a big of a deal for me. I found my way to islam in last 3 years- realized it is easy to take off your cloths and work in america than wearing a piece of cloth over your hair for modesty. That small piece of cloth became eye- sore for somany people. I get oppressed for wearing hijab everyday, not because someone oppressed me to wear one.
